Pros:

The suite was very large, elegant and equipped with a clean and well-sized bathroom. The airco was a bit noisy, but we spent a good night!

Cons:

Precise maneuvering in the parking is crucial if travelling with an SUV - curves to get out are really tight. Breakfast could offer more choices.

Small-town mid-century elegance at it's best. Look no further
Pros:

Everything was great here. The entire experience blended so well with my visit to Piacenza, and the city itself. Piacenza is a terrific town. If I get a chance to return, Grande Albergo is the first place I would consider. It has the charm and elegance of a small town luxury hotel from the 1970s that keeps improving and updating but stays true to it's charming mid-century feel. Great location too.

Cons:

Absolutely nothing. This is the place to stay in Piachenza.
