Pros:

The holtel is in great location, close to the city centre. The room is clean, cozy and very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay and would love to come back again.

Comfortable, clean, and convenient!
Pros:

The location was excellent, super close to haymarket, central station, Darling Harbor, and lots of other Sydney attractions! The facilities were comfortable and clean. Service at this hotel was excellent, every staff never was incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind. We loved our stay!

Cons:

Wish the rooms had come with more towels, we were able to request extras from the front desk, but had to do so everytime we needed clean towels.

Great hotel in a great area
Pros:

We loved our stay in Vulcan hotel. Room was clean and spacious with a nice bathroom. Continental breakfast was a nice touch - everyone can find something small to bite on in the morning. We used laundry service which was of fair price (35 aud for 5kg bag). All in all great value for money.

Cons:

The only major thing was that the room had a distinct smell - probably because the building is old. Smelled a bit like in horse barn, but it wasn't particulary disturbing.

Great value for the money
Pros:

We're here for the second time in a row and we're really happy with the hotel. It is located quite centrally, has a vintage atmosphere, and features quite a nice continental breakfast. The staff is very responsive and helpful.

We had a balcony run which was clean but quite dated; that said, it didn't prevent us from enjoying our stay at all. There was some noise from the outside, but not during the night.

Overall, this hotel offers great value for is prices.
