Hotel Orbis

3 yıl önce konaklamamızda beğenmiştik. Booking üzerinden 16:00 da rezervasyon oluşturup 20:30 da otele vardık. resepsiyondaki çalışan kişi bize bu saatte neden geldiniz şeklinde tavırla yaklaştı, rezervasyonu kaçta yaptığımızı sordu, kızarak işlemlerini yaptı. Maalesef bir daha kalmayı düşünmüyoruz.

They never let us in the property. We were left abandoned after midnight on the streets of Rome. We explained our late arrival due to airline delays. We were in constant contact with them first by email (their email portal) and then by phone as our communication channels became challenging. During our travels, we phoned the property at about 9pm and told them that things with the last flight was uncertain but to PLAN ON OUR ARRIVAL. We told them to expect us but with a late arrival between 1am and 2 am. We said that if we don't end up showing up it was beyond our control but to PLAN TO EXPECT US. We arrived at the hotel at 1:45am and rang the buzzer but no one answered. We tried phoning and our daughter also tried from America. No one answered. We were left abandoned on the streets of Rome all night. Luckily, we could sit in a 24-hour McDonalds until the Rome Termini opened. Our daughter called from America and talked to the adjoining property, I believe their name is Serena, and she said they were very rude and that they could not let us in the hotel. She tried many other hotels in the area and they were also rude and had no availability. Dan and I walked to another hotel establishment where we saw someone inside by the desk. He let us in but said they had no rooms available. We asked him if he had a way to contact Hotel Orbis and he very shortly said no. After we got to McDonald's and I was able to get power to my phone, I saw an email response from Hotel Orbis. He explained in the email that we could get our key at some random hotel not too far from their establishment. Unacceptable. When we spoke to him at 9pm from Spain, he should have told us that we needed to go to some other hotel to get the key. I did not see that email until about 5 am when it was too late. There is nothing on their website about needing to see some other hotel between 11-2am. Our daughter pulled their policy for guidance.
