Great
Pros:

The location is perfect. Just few steps away from main train station and bus C6 (to airport). Room was big and comfy. Only the lights in bathroom could be better (not for make up entusiastic). Basic breakfast but ok.

Cons:

I dont know if this is a problem of a hotel or of the whole city - tap water was not ok (for drinking)

Pros:

La habitación del hotel me sorprendió gratamente desde el primer momento. El espacio era amplio, con una cama realmente cómoda y una iluminación cálida que invitaba al descanso. También me gustó mucho la limpieza general: todo estaba impecable, desde las sábanas hasta el baño. Además, el aislamiento acústico funcionaba bien, lo que permitió dormir sin interrupciones incluso estando en una zona bastante transitada.

Pros:

La ubicacion es muy centrica, es un hotel tranquilo y el personal es muy amable

Cons:

Como tal del alojamiento no me disgusto nada pero si vienes con coche el tema del aparcamiento es muy complicado tendiéndolo que meter en los parkings públicos

Kein "übliches" Bahnhofshotel
Pros:

Bahnhofsgegenden eignen selten für Hotelaufenthalte, vor allem in Deutschland. Von Alicante kann man das aber nicht behaupten. Weder der Bahnhof noch die Umgebung machen einen schmuddeligen oder gar gefährlichen Eindruck. Deshalb kann das La City Estación auch guten Gewissens empfohlen werden. Die Zimmer sind ordentlich groß, vor allem auch die Badezimmer (wir waren zweimal da). Man hat eher den Eindruck in ein Familienhotels zu kommen als in ein Hotel mit reger Kundenfrequenz. Die Rezeption ist immer besetzt. Auch das Gepäck wird sicher verstaut. Ein Pluspunkt ist das Frühstücksangebot, denn es gibt mehrere Auswahlmöglichkeiten, angefangen mit dem schnellen und günstigen Desayuno. Diese Optionen sollten auch andere Hotels bieten, denn nicht jeder braucht das volle Buffet am Morgen.

Cons:

Das Hotel liegt an einem Verkehrsknotenpunkt der Stadt und auch noch neben einer Ampel. Das muss man berücksichtigen. Die Fenster schließen zwar gut und in den oberen Etagen bekommt man wenig mit, trotzdem: eine ruhige Lage ist es nicht.

Adequaat hotel nabij het treinstation voor doorreizigers
Pros:

De ligging aan het treinstation van Alicante waar ik de volgende dag de trein nam naar Madrid.

Cons:

Het was bekend dat de check-in tijd 16.00 uur was, wat erg laat is in vergelijking met andere hotels (meestal 15.00). Ik moest door de stad dwalen, omdat ik van buiten Alicante kwam, ik er al om 13.15 was en het hotel zelf geen faciliteiten heeft. Aanvankelijk gaf men aan 15.00 uur maar uiteindelijk lieten zij mij nog tot half vier in de hal wachten. De service was goed maar bij de receptie had ik iets meer empathie verwacht. De volgende ochtend heb ik uitgecheckt om 7.30. Ik denk voor veel mensen een goed hotel als er doorgereisd moet worden maar dan zou iets meer flexibiliteit van het hotel wat betreft in- en uitchecken fijn zijn.
