Hotel Bau

Beautiful hotel. Close to sights. Cozy. Need to put lights on in hallway or dark.
Delicious breakfast. Everyone friendly. Front desk spoke English. Comfortable lobby to sit enjoy a coffee. Room was very comfortable and hot water for showers. Everything was immaculate.

Stayed here for only a couple of nights for business but it was an absolutely flawless experience. The rooms are basic but rather large and with comfortable beds. The full board for our large group really couldn’t be faulted, the food was always fresh, very tasty and plentiful. But the best part was the absolutely lovely staff, including the hotel’s owners, they went out of their way to ensure that everyone had a great stay. It is about a ten minute drive from downtown Maribor but definitely worth to consider if going there by car.

This Hotel defines a new standard of Service mentality. Family owned operated with a huge heart and always a smile on the face nothing is impossible. Enriched breakfast which is enhanced with personal features on request.
A/C rooms are clean and on a good standard. I have enjoyed a long time stay. Working from room with high speed inet trouble free.
I can give a true recommendation.

Nice, clean, modern and comfortable rooms. Excellent service, from check-in, Buffett, Desk Info and checkout. The evening on Sep. 2nd was so kind and helpful.

Hotel is nice and clean. Rooms are beautiful. Bed is too soft for my taste but otherwise comfortable. Breakfast is delicious, diverse and fresh. Staff is friendly and always reachable. Will stay here in the future. 10/10

We wanted a clean and modern hotel for a recent one night stay in Maribor.
As we were traveling by car, this hotel was ideal as it is in a residential area around 3km from the city centre.
Parking was free and actually part of the hotel property.
Check in was friendly and efficient and the room was very large, very clean and well equipped.
Staff very friendly and the breakfast was excellent, despite the CV-19 restrictions.
Ideal for business or leisure and close to the ski areas if visiting Maribor during winter.
Highly recommended!

As there were four of us, we ended up in the suite. Curiously, it had no kitchen or even a refrigerator. Both of the bedrooms had end bed space for 3 people each. Good internet, clean and comfortable.

That staff was very helpful. They found me a place to store my two bicycles while we were there and made some quite good cappuccinos for us. If we're ever in Maribor again, it'll definitely be on the list to stay in again.

A good place for one night. Good choice as a stop over hotel. Rooms are small, but for one night ok. Bathroom ok but small. Quiet place. Chinese restaurant around the corner.

Good: Nice room, simple, but had everything necessary. Good beds, clean bathroom, a working hair dryer. A very good breakfast buffet. Nice view.

I am very fussy. I want everything spotless, I want friendly , helpful and happy people around me especially when on holidays. My husband is fussy he does not like holidays Hotel Bau Maribor was absolutely fantastic. I cannot write enough about them. The receptionist helpful, friendly, the rooms were absolutely spotless, for the first time in my life i did not have to re clean the hotel room with dettol. The breakfast was scrumptious, warm , fresh ,plentiful and perfectly cooked meals every day. My husband on the second day was telling me he wants to come back to Bau Maribor Slovenia, now this is someone who hates travelling and hates sleeping on another bed other than his own. The Slovenians made us feel perfectly welcome. The reality of the hotel is much much better than what the photoes show. On a last note I thoroughly recommend anyone staying here at BAu Hotel Maribor 4 euro takes you to the city centre and Bau Maribor is a very quiet and friendly neighbourhood.This family hotel deserves 10 star rating. Nice modern very comfortable and clean hotel. The rooms are big, the breakfast complete .

We have been in this hotel for only one night. Rooms are very simple, old style, two beds, one small TV and small bathroom. Breakfast is very simple. On front is writen 4 stars but I think is almost 3.
