Sunrise and the colours of the sea - magnificent!
Pros:

A peaceful oasis. Everything to hand and the staff were so helpful and friendly. I have limited mobility but this was not a problem. Will definitely stay here again.

Cons:

Dinner menu was mainly for two sharing, which left only a small selection for one person, but still delicious food.

Bel endroit pas entretenu et où tout est payant..

Emplacement et vue

Cons:

Personnel du bar pas efficace et pas aimable
Chambres pas entretenues… traces sur les murs, joints de la baignoire abîmés et noir.
Pas de serrure dans les toilettes pour femmes de l’hôtel…
Spa payant qui sens les égouts, des traces de saleté partout, joints dégoûtants, traces au plafond, vitres sales…
Quel dommage pour un si bel endroit

Lovely position by the sea, nice lounge and quiet reading room. Lovely terrace. The breakfast was very good,

Cons:

being charged extra for a cappuccino when breakfast is €25 euros seems a bit much. The lunch and dinner were ok but not great. Decided not to eat there after trying it. The bathrooms were not clean. In the spa room there was black mould between the tiles all over the shower. My daughter said there was black mould all around the rim of the bath in her room. My husband ran a bath and the water was brown and lots of orange silt in the bath.
Some staff were utterly charming but some of those at breakfast were not very friendly or helpful. The mattresses are foam which I imagine would be pretty hot in the summer as foam absorbs body heat.

Wundervoller Aufenthalt in Empuries d’Escala
Pros:

Hotel mit wunderschöner Lage neben den Ruinen von Empuries. Toller Meerblick, Strandpromenade bis nach l’Escala, mit Fahrradweg, schöne Strände in der Umgebung. Ideal für einen erholsamen Urlaub.
Eco Style Hotel, sehr schönes Innendesign.
