Schönes, zentrales Hotel in direkter Nähe zum Kölner Hauptbahnhof
Pros:

Disappointing!
Pros:

Great location. Great breakfast. Lovely breakfast staff!

Cons:

The room had a very strong smell of perfume and smoke. It was a ground floor room looking out onto the street so I couldn't open the window to air the room because of personal security. I booked the hotel Domstern but had to check in somewhere else at a different hotel (very near but it was confusing), and then go back to my actual hotel with a series of check in codes. No sense of being welcomed or hospitality.
Next morning I mentioned the strong smell in my room and the manager said she would mention it to housekeeping. No apology! No smile. Disappointing!

Pros:

Good location and nice breakfast make this hotel a worthy stay. The Receptionist Uta (sp) was super nice and helpful. They have secure bicycle parking too! It is a short walk to everything that makes Cologne the awesome city it is.

Cons:

This hotel is actually several separate buildings along the same street which is a little confusing an makes going down for breakfast a little inconvenient.

Pros:
