Für unser Sportvorhaben bot das Hotel ideale Bedingungen.
Pros:

Da das Sportturnier schon um 6 Uhr begann, konnten wir kein Frühstück nehmen. Aber es wurden uns
Proviantpakete gepackt, so dass wir den Tag gut versorgt beginnen konnten.
Aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen (circa 40 Grad) war die Klimaanlage für die Ruhephasen in der Nacht sehr
wichtig.

Einfach aber mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten

Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Fitnessraum ist basic aber gepflegt.

Cons:

Die gesamte Nacht durch hat es alle paar Minuten einen lauten Brummton gemacht. Da nach 22 Uhr die Rezeption nicht besetzt ist, was man erst feststellt, wenn man sich wieder anzieht und runter läuft (am Telefon erhält man die Ansage, dass alle Leitungen belegt seien), konnte auch keine Abhilfe geschaffen werden.

Kurztrip zum Bodensee

Wir haben Singen als kostengünstigere Option gewählt, um an den Bodensee zu fahren. Das Best Western ist eher ein Hotel für Geschäftsreisende, hat aber für uns als Touristen auch optimal gepasst. Checkin war sehr freundlich. Wir waren später da als erwartet, der Hotelmanager hat aber dennoch alles so arangiert, dass die Anreise problemlos verlief. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und bequem. Positiv bei dem warmen Wetter war die Klimaanlage. Im Bett haben wir sehr gut geschlafen. Wir haben keine Frühstück dazu gebucht, deshalb war es gut, dass es unweit beim Marktplatz ein gutes Café gibt. Es gibt einen Parkplatz gegenüber vom Hotel, der für Hotelgäste reserviert ist.

Cons:

Zur Bahn, mit der man gut nach Konstanz und auch Schaffhausen (Schweiz) kommt, ist es doch ein ganzes Stück zu laufen.
