Pleasant for a short stay
Pros:

The room had a beautiful terrace and the reception staff was very helpful.

Cons:

The elevator was a bit hot and small for even two people. The building had a smell on one of the days from when we went down the stairs.. potentially of garbage from other units in the building.

Pros:

Das Hotel hat eine hervorragende Lage – mitten im Zentrum und direkt an der Fußgängerzone. Der Strand ist ebenfalls nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt.
Das Hotel befindet sich im 4. Stock. Ein Aufzug ist vorhanden, allerdings ist dieser sehr klein und schmal.
Mein Zimmer lag direkt zur Fußgängerzone. Dadurch hört man den Lärm von der Straße, besonders nachts. Mit Ohropax lässt sich das jedoch gut lösen.
Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, herzlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Der Aufenthalt hat mir sehr gut gefallen und ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

The staff, especially Jean-Louis, was very helpful and friendly. He has high knowledge in the tourism sector and recommended many good places to visit. The location of the hotel is strategic and close to everything. As for the cleanliness, the hotel is very clean and renovated.

Cons:

The lift is too small.

I recommend it!
Pros:

The accommodation fully meets the criteria for a two-star hotel. The four-person room had two separate areas, and our family fit comfortably inside. Both sleeping areas had air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the intense heat.
Barbara, the receptionist, welcomed us very warmly and provided us with helpful advice on shops, restaurants, and transportation. Whenever we needed anything, she was always ready to help.
It was a treat to look out from the balcony onto the bustling walking street in the evenings, especially when the French national soccer team’s matches were broadcast on TV and the restaurants were packed with fans. 🙂
We didn’t order breakfast, but at a great bakery (Armand) just 80 meters from Hotel Solara, we always found delicious pastries and sandwiches.

Cons:

A little more storage space (shelves, closet) would have been nice for our clothes and shoes.

Highly recommend this wee boutique hotel
Pros:

This is the second year we have stayed with Solara. We love the location and the staff are very friendly.

Cons:

The only issue is the noise from other guests in and out early in the morning. The walls are thin and the doors have noisy keys with big Keyrings. If you don’t have any problems sleeping then this is a great hotel.

Pros:

Our stay at Hotel Solara was excellent! It had a great location, friendly, helpful staff, and a nice, clean room. Fast free WiFi, cool AC, and a small elevator were all very helpful. We enjoyed relaxing in the evening on the terrace.

Cons:

Because of the central location, it can be noisy at night, which could be an issue for light sleepers.
