Basic but convenient.
Pros:

Good location on the main square so easy access to anything in the old town and only a few minutes walk from the railway station. Limited but decent breakfast choices. Haarlem is a short train ride from central Amsterdam so worth considering if the city is too expensive or too busy.

Cons:

My room was very small, at the back by the door that the chefs stood by to smoke. There was a refrigerator condenser motor outside the window switching on and off all night. A tiny bathroom in almost a cupboard with a very basic shower I did not use. The bedding was worn and grubby looking with one old pillow all of which had seen better days. Not great. It was not expensive and other rooms may have been better but I will spend more on accommodation next time.

Is voor ons helaas niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

We hebben 's-nachts heel veel moeite moeten doen om de kaart voor het binnenkomen te vinden. Toen we nu ruim 1 uur eindelijk ontdekten waar de code zat was die nauwelijks in te typen omdat de cijfers in het donker (zelfs met zaklamp) niet te lezen waren. Op gevoel moeten ontcijferen.

Pros:

Fantastisk beliggenhet i meget hyggeleg by! Hyggeleg cafe der ein får både velkomstdrink og deilig frukost. Deilige sengar.

Cons:

Lytt mellom romma (ørepluggar tilgjengeleg på rommet). Teppet på golvet er tilsølt, på gangen luktar det kattepiss (ytterdøra står ope og katter kjem inn). Elles rent.

Prachtlocatie voor 1 of 2 nachten in het prachtige Haarlem
Pros:

Fantastische locatie! Schoon en zeer goede bedden! Ontbijt is goed verzorgd in het prachtige restaurant onder het hotel.

Cons:

Eenvoudig hotel waarbij een renovatie wel noodzakelijk is!

Op de kamer na was alles heerlijk!
Pros:

Heel vriendelijk personeel, leuk dat we een gratis drankje kregen, heerlijk ontbijt, mooie aankleding in het restaurant

Cons:

De kamer was heel klein en de badkamer was vrij oud. Daarnaast was het heel warm op de kamer (er stond wel een ventilator)

Alojamiento muy céntrico y buen desayuno
Pros:

La ubicación es inmejorable, en plena plaza principal.
El desayuno es bueno y la atención del personal también.

Cons:

La habitación (26) era pequeña y el cuarto de baño lo habían sacado con calzador.
La ducha no tenía termostato y tampoco flexo con lo que era incómodo. Además de ser pequeña porque había una columna enorme que no te dejaba ni moverte.
Volvería a alojarme por la situación pero en
otra habitación que supongo que habrá mejores.
Si el bar está cerrado hay que subir y bajar andando y las escaleras son bastante incómodas si vas con maletas.

Pros:

El hotel está bien ubicado, pleno centro. Pero enfrente hay un parque de diversión instalado. El desayuno está correcto.

Cons:

Justo me tocó quedarme el día del Rey. El hotel fue un descontrol total. Hubo una fiesta electrónica y no había nadie cuidando que gente que no eran huéspedes subieran las escaleras en busca de baños. En recepción no había nadie. Algo insólito.

Goed hotel met basic voorzieningen midden in centrum van Haarlem
Pros:

Prima locatie in centrum Haarlem en goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

Cons:

Fietsenstalling om de hoek ging pas om 11 uur open op zondag. Te laat voor mij als trekkende fietser.
Daarom fiets in NS stalling geplaatst, en dat was nog gratis ook.
