雨季だったので1万円ちょっとで朝食付きの2名部屋を予約できた。
朝食のバイキングは充実した内容。同会場は夜レストランで、夜のバイキングもお得だった。
ジムやプールも使える。

Ok stay but please staff English speaking members at the front office Resturant and lobby.

Cons:

Ordered a non alcoholic drink. But got one with alcohol. After complaining the staff said that they don’t have non alcoholic drinks so had to show them the drinks card for them to realize what the bar offers. Got just one towel for 3 members. Called the reception and they ask to call room service. Called room service and asked for 2 towels and 3 toothbrushes. They came with only one towel. So a lot of back and forth to get understood.

Preis-/Leistung noch okay. Für Zwischenaufenthalt okay. Längerer Aufenthalt besser anderes Hotel wählen.
Pros:

Gute Lichtsteuerung vom Bett aus.
Großes Bett, aber leider zu hart!
4 Flaschen (in Glasflaschen) Wasser pro Tag.
Großer Spiegel im Zimmer.
Gut zu regelnde Klimaanlage, die NICHT auf das Bett bläst.
Sehr gutes und vielseitiges Frühstück. Leider „nur“ bis 10:00 Uhr angeboten. Wir waren an einem Abend im Hotel zum Buffet-Essen. War okay, man muss jedoch wissen, dass das Buffet eher Thai-orientiert ist, nicht westlich geprägt.
Verdunkelung des Zimmers sehr gut.
Schöne Bar. Allgemein ist die Innenarchitektur des Hotel sehr ansprechend und opulent gestaltet. Leider kann das Zimmer (3027/ Superior) hier nicht mithalten.

Cons:

Eine Sache, die wirklich ärgerlich ist und dadurch den gesamten Standard des Hotels herunterzieht:
Das Bad ist viel zu klein und hat keine separate Dusche. Man muss sich mit einer kleinen Badewanne mit Kunststoff-Vorhang begnügen. Das ist weder Zeitgemäß, noch wird es dem sonstigen Hotelstandard gerecht , sehr schade!
Generell hat das Hotel seine besten Tage bereits gesehen. Hier und da wären Renovierungsarbeiten dringend notwendig, zum Beispiel am Pool, der sonst sehr schön ist.

Wonderful, relaxing and pleasant stay!
Pros:

The staff were wonderful - they were super friendly and always willing to help. Most staff could speak English very well so there was minimal issues with communication. We were able to get change for the big baht notes we'd bought from England and they had a printing facility for our boarding passes which is a big plus. We ended up booking an extra night at the desk and they made this process super easy.
The live music at the hotel was a lovely addition we weren't aware of when booking. One night they sang Sweet Caroline which made me miss home haha.
The rooms were great - my room was slightly larger than my dad's. We asked for rooms close together and were given rooms next door to one another which was fabulous. They were super clean, had 4 big bottles of water restocked daily, cleaned daily, and had all necessary toiletries in. The bathroom had both a shower and a bath tub which was a pleasant surprise.
The breakfast was good - buffet style and had a range of items that catered for various diets. We tried the Chinese restaurant in the hotel and this was delicious. I'd recommend the steamed fish. There is also a little cafe that sells delicious ice cream. They also do a buy one get one free deal on their cakes in the evenings.
The pool is wonderful - there's three pools and they provide a good mix of shaded and sunny spaces.
The gym has good facilities and the massage is good.

Cons:

There weren't many things we didn't like - just a few.
- The coffee in the breakfast isn't the best BUT the cafe does good coffee, it just means you'll have to pay for it
- The masseuse was late for the appointment we'd booked and there was some communication issues but this is the only place this issue occurred so not the biggest issue in the world

Sumptuous Palace, definitely recommend.

Everything was clean and huge! ,
We are returning at the end of the week.

Cons:

Ok , WiFi quite bad.
We were unfortunate, there was an electrical fault which meant that the bedroom lights kept coming on by themselves.
We left it quite late to report 2 am but an electrician came and fixed the problem. The hotel is over 30 years old and thus has some problems.
