Categories

Cleanliness
8.6
Many reviewers mention very clean, newly renovated rooms and good housekeeping; a few comments note older rooms with dated fixtures (e.g., worn shower curtain).
Service
7.9
Service is often described as friendly and welcoming, though several reviews report understaffing, poor organisation during room changes and staff loitering/smoking outside.
Location
8.6
Multiple mentions of a great location (adjacent to a small park, convenient for local attractions and Phantasialand); generally considered convenient and pleasant.
Room Quality
7.5
Mixed room quality: some rooms are newly renovated, modern and comfortable (good beds), while others are older or partially renovated with minor wear and less comfortable sofa beds.
Amenities
8.2
Breakfast and common facilities are well regarded; in-room amenities are more limited (requests for kettle/coffee in room, occasional missing inventory during renovations).
Value for Money
8.6
Several guests explicitly praise the price–performance ratio and find the hotel good value for the cost.
Food and Beverage
8.7
Breakfast repeatedly described as excellent and plentiful; small individual preferences noted (e.g., missing bacon for scrambled eggs), but overall very positive.
Overall Experience
8.3
Overall stays are positive and many guests would return; ongoing renovation and occasional service hiccups temper an otherwise recommendable experience.

Pros:
