Villa Calussovo

Das Fruhstuck ist verbesserungsfahig leider sehr wenig und auch keine Brotchen

Despite the beautiful location there are many many misleading reviews about Villa Calussovo. The hosts are only pleasure to german and Italian tourists, two languages they speak well. They are indifferent or flat our rude to other guests.
The breakfast selection is very poor and the AC are old and not working properly so be prepared to be hot in summer. The shower is tiny and the amenities not in pictures are of questionable quality.
Requesting a coffee in the morning is a mission (especially if you cannot have lactose).
The worst was the after care. More than a month to request an invoice and a completely unresponsive host that pretends not to speak a work of english and doesn't answer to any emails or messages.
It's a real shame that such a beautiful location and peaceful place is run so poorly by people who who are outdated and who's service might have been bearable for a guest house in 1980 but doesn't have any modern/renovated amenities.
If you pass by the area and want to see this beautiful house and pool go ahead but don't believe all the raving reviews. We were there 5 nights and went out to the east coast of the peninsula to have a good time.

Der kunne godt have været mulighed for at lave kaffe selv - det føltes lidt som om vi forstyrrede værtsparret når vi skulle bestille. Aftenmenuen var lidt tilfældig, den fulgte ikke menukortet og var noget begrænset.

Too expensive for what you get. The a/c in my room was very noisy and although it worked in cooling it sounded broken and disturbed my sleep. Also the television does not work. Not super important with the television, but it is one less way to relax.
