Familiengeführtes Hotel in 2er Generation, Service hervorragend, alles sehr sauber, Lage ruhig und nah zum Bahnhof West, Preis Leistung stimmt vollkommen. Ich komme wieder!

For economy conscious travellers I would recommend the 2 star Hotel Rössli for its quiet and convenient location, a five minute level walk from Interlaken West station. A traditional Swiss family run, friendly, cosy, clean, unpretentious place, that provides simply furnished rooms with comfortable beds, TV’s, USB charging points and essential facilities.
There’s a free 24 hour coffee/tea/microwave unit plus crockery/cutlery available in the ground floor lounge enabling guests to bring in food/drinks.
Breakfasts are continental buffet style with the addition of bacon and scrambled eggs plus tea/coffee. Jean Louis frequents the breakfast room, providing humorous comments to raise your spirits and dispensing useful travel tips, all whilst ensuring your tea and coffee pots are efficiently re-filled.
Christopher (Jean Louis’ son) and his multilingual reception team are very friendly and helpful and can provide multilingual advice, travel tips and tickets for most local attractions.
Other Hotel features include:
1. Free Wi-Fi and Parking.
2. Guest card that allows free travel in local zone and discounts at shops and attractions.
3. Ground floor lounge with TV, microwave and 24 hr tea and coffee facility.
4. 1st floor lounge with children’s play area and large TV.
5. Pay as you Go laundry facility.
6. Storage room for luggage, bikes, skis etc.
I have stayed here many times and can recommend it for its friendly ambience and reasonable pricing. I hope to return again soon.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights whilst I explored the region and I cannot recommend it enough. The hotel itself is in a great location, it’s clean, the kitchen facilities were a great benefit especially being solo but most of all the staff were so lovely and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of options and they remembered my order and had it ready every morning! I stayed in a single room with external bathroom which was right facing my room and was no problem. Jean-Louis the owner was there when I checked out and it was nice to hear how it’s a family run hotel and they do their upmost to make their guests feel welcome! Definitely going to stay here again when I return to Switzerland.

After staying for 1 night during our mini tour of Switzerland (we stayed on 28/01/2026) I can't recommend this lovely little place highly enough or fault it in any way!

Don't be put off or fooled by the 2 star rating which really doesn't do the place or the people who run it (who make you feel so at home and like extended family) any justice.

Yes it's not The Ritz, it doesn't have fine dining, a swimming pool or spa facilities, but what it does have is a perfect location for exploring Interlaken (literally 5 mins walk from Interlaken West train station and main shopping street), a real authentic Swiss charm and charachter, spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms (both where you sleep and throughout), a lovely, relaxed lounge area with free tea & coffee making facilities, a lovely freshly cooked & continental breakfast in the lovely dining area, and the most important thing it has is Jean- Louis, Christopher and the staff!

They're (the staff) so invested in the hotel (which has been in the family for 3 generations now) and in making sure that you get the very best out of your stay with them that nothing was too much trouble and you felt welcome and looked after the moment you stepped through the door!

We were catching the Golden Pass Express the morning after our stay and after sitting with us for a while at breakfast, Jean-Loius (who said - you're not just our guests, you're friends who come to stay - which is how youre made to feel here) popped off and came back with a bag of goodies from the continental breakfast for our journey. A lovely touch and just one example of how very genuine, customer orientated and hospitable the staff are.

If you're after a very comfortable, spotlessly clean, reasonably priced, welcoming, personal and authentic Swiss hotel experience, then this is the place.

We have plans on going back to Interlaken and there's no place else we'll stay.

Hotel Rössli is exceptionally clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Lovely friendly staff who are more than happy to help.

Staff, location, good breakfast

Unfortunately, I was not given a chance to experience anything at the property, as I was denied access despite having a valid booking.

Jean-Louis was a most personable host. He gave us a warm greeting each morning when we entered the breakfast room. He was especially kind to our small daughter. She enjoyed the colored pencils and coloring sheets he provided. Breakfasts were very satisfying. The location was on a quieter street away from the busyness of the Main Street and yet very conveniently located to the train station, restaurants and events around the town. Our room was comfortable and clean; front desk staff were friendly and provided helpful recommendations. I was pleased to launder some of our clothing before the next leg of our journey. When I return to Interlaken, I will reserve a room at Hotel Rossli—it felt like I was part of the family

Hotel Rossli is walking distance from Interlaken West station. There are various good restaurants in vicinity. It is a very safe place to go with family.
Staff are extremely polite and nice. They answer all your questions with a big smile. Hotel has a dining room with fridge and coffee machine free of cost to use 24 hours.
Every morning you are greeted by Jean-Louis in breakfast area with a broad smile. He is very nice and gentle. He ensures you feel at home instead of hotel stay.
Overall a great experience and lots of good memories.
