Great location , spacious, clean and very friendly - good value
Nothing of significance - nice hotel
It's a lovely old building and we had a very nice room. The hotel is in a good position close to the centre of Ssntillana and also close to a car park that only costs 4.50€ for a whole day.
The staff are all lovely and we had a very good value buffet breakfast.
The check-in process seems very complicated compared to other hotels.
The plumbing is extremely noisy and we were woken by it in adjacent rooms.

We loved this beautiful historic hotel in Santillana del Mar. There were three reception areas to choose from, each with many interesting antique clocks, furniture and collections. The room was much bigger than we expected from the photos. We loved the historic balcony in our room looking out from the front of the hotel. There was a good choice of items on the breakfast buffet. The staff were friendly. The hotel was a short walk (2 minutes) to the centre of Santillana del Mar. We would stay here again.
Nothing. The only things to note are: 1. That town name of Santillana del Mar implies the town is near the sea....but it isn't. Not that we were expecting to be near the sea. 2. The hotel doesn't have its own car park, but paid for parking is available opposite the hotel, or there is a huge square for parking just a short walk from the hotel.
