best thing is the location in a nice area.
unfortunately, the cleanliness of the facility left much room for improvement. in addition, there were technical issues (no light and no heating in the bathroom, shower leaking). the staff (on the phone) were friendly but unable to resolve the matter. it looked like the problem was not new.

Everything. The bathroom was dirty and smelly, there was no wifi, there was no curtains, there was an oily substance dripping from the walls. The staff didn’t do anything to help.
Location was perfect easy to find.
Instructions on self sign-in must specify if someone has to pull or push a door. There were no working lights in the room and bathroom. TV did not work it was offline. Wifi connection was not up to scratch too. No water cooker to make coffee or tea.
We didn’t have the heater working in December at 5 degrees
They said that they are going to fix it but didn’t
Another thing only one elevator work from all the premises.

The window did not open. This room was dangerous for claustrophobics. The curtain/blind didn't work. The heating system did not work, or if it did, there were no instructions on how to turn it on. The inventory in the bathroom was damaged. They promised to solve the problem several times, but they did not solve it.

I was given access codes to 2 apartments that were both occupied and they then had the audacity to tell me to apply for a free cancellation because they couldn't accommodate me, I did that and it's now 24 hours later, I am still calling them after being stranded on the street at night to get my refund! Utter incompetence, unprofessionalism.

They were no possibilities to change the temperature of the shower, don’t go there.
Avoid at all costs. The only thing the property has going for it is the area, but there are much better options available elsewhere.
At the time of the booking in 2023 the property was listed as Hotel Cafe Pacific. It is not a hotel.
Upon access to the property and entry into the building, the superior room that had been booked bore little resemblance to the pictures included in the hotel listing and facilities that were included per the listing were not present.
Due to the issues we identified, we decided to stay to book alternative accommodation and stay there instead. We complained directly to Smartflats, outlining the issues in detail - with Expedia’s help we were able to get a refund.
The following issues were present with the room:
- the floors/wall/balcony were dirty
- most of the lights did not work
- the bed linen was not clean
- the towels were not clean
- safety and security concerns with the room/common areas:
- broken smoke alarm in the lobby
- broken window at front of the property
- broken lights in the lobby area
- there are no lights in the common area between the elevator and our room.
Other facilities that were meant to be available per the listing were not present:
- there is no wi-fi
- no TV in the room
- no coffee/tea making equipment
- no rubbish bins
- other decor such as wall pictures (seen in photographs advertising the room) were missing
Clean and very comfortable bed, the view from balcony, location perfect
Toilet was not clean at all, and nothing was there, no Soap. Douche gel, shampoo, nothing,
The view and the location, very close to the center, the personal was very promt with the respons to our requests.
The problems related with the access on the building, the access code that don't work. And the waiting time to made the check in.
Location is good, the area is safe and lively, many restaurants, shops, bars nearby
Very bad experience. Can't recommend. When I arrived, the access code to my room didn't work. It took one hour for customer service to sort out my situation and give me an access code to a room that worked.
The room wasn't clean. The sink and floor were dirty, there wasn't any soap, I also saw a hair and an insect on the bedsheets. I have uploaded photos. I complained to customer service but they didn't send anyone to clean the room and they also didn't meet my request for a partial refund.
There's no staff on site. You can only communicate via calling customer service or emailing them.
Very bad value for money. For ~100€/night, I was expecting better. I normally never leave bad reviews but I advise you against booking this accommodation.
