Hanoi Morning Hotel

The Hotel staff were so gorgeous. The hotel is old and tired. The bathroom was a bit grotty. We had ants everywhere throughout the room. The bed was as hard as a wooden plank. The hotel is in a lovely street, just 50m from 4p’s pizza. Lots of lovely cafes and restaurants with great food.

it's a very basic hotel, very basic room furniture and breakfast, no amenities of any sort, but room size is OK and we chose a room with a window (which is optional in this area), on the other hand the location is superb, right in the middle of the bustling old quarter, staff are very friendly and helpful, not bad for the rates but could enhance.

We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel in the old quarter by the lake. The property is old, but your in the old quarter, so… Julie and Mai (hope I got the spelling right) were very friendly and helpful. Good hotel to have as a base.

The hotel just had one key, even though they advertised luxury deluxe room, the room was not in great condition. The receptionist was crying loudly in the lobby and wasn’t able to assist us soon when we got locked out

Julie and her staff made it a special visit for us. Took good care of us. Wonderful breakfast!!!

Excellent location, very convenient. Close to shops, restaurants, ATM, Hoan Kiem Lake. Staff is very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Room is clean. I highly recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay in Hanoi!
Only steps from the lake and really in the heart of the Old Quarter. I liked it so much I extended my stay for several days! Julie at the front desk is extremely nice, helpful and welcoming!

Tout est bien

We had a room on 4th floor for first 3 nights which was much smaller than when we returned to hotel after a few days where we stayed on the 8th floor. 4th floor room felt very cramped for 3 adults but 8th floor room was perfectly fine. 4th floor room was noisy as the doors to balcony didn't close fully. Very limited options for breakfast. Location is perfect near the lake and all restaurants and walking distances to many attractions including night markets and beer street.

Location of this hotel was great however the rooms themselves are pretty run down and dirty. The bathroom in the first room I was in was very run down. I asked to move rooms ( I was happy to pay ) but wanted to view the room first. They offered me a lake view room which was a little better but still not recommended. Overall the staff were great and location excellent.

Great place centrally located. Great view of Lake Kiem from our balcony. Spacious room. Breakfast from the top floor was awesome with the added stunning view.
Julie coordinated our trip to our awesome HaLong Bay cruise, our journey to Sapa and returning to Hanoi airport. Great job Julie!!!

Convenient

I won’t stay here again or recommend this place. I will say that the location was fantastic, super easy to walk everywhere. Because it was in such a busy area it was very loud at all times, sleeping with earplugs is a must.
It was our fault for booking a room without a window/balcony, but the room we got smelled damp and musty. I felt like I couldn’t breathe. We could only stay for about 10 minutes before my partner and I decided to change rooms because we wouldn’t be able to sleep with the smell like that. Not only was the smell horrible, the room didn’t look like the pictures AT ALL!! It was super dark (even with all lights on) and the furniture was so different. The walls were old and peeling too.
Luckily we were able to pay to upgrade to a room with a balcony for a few nights. This was so much better, whilst still not looking like the photos, we felt that it was cleaner than the first room. Downside was that there was toilet flooding and the drainage in the shower was extremely slow.
Our last night there we got moved across the hall to a room with a window. The receptionist showed us photos of the room beforehand and it still didn’t look anything like the pictures. The windows were 10x smaller than shown and the room/bathroom was very outdated. Felt dirty and stains were all over the sheets. One positive was that this bathroom didn’t flood hahaha

If you don’t mind dodgy quarters for a good location, I would stay here!

Great location to old quarter and lake

Great staff, clean rooms and great location to explore the old city! We would stay there again!!

I enjoyed the property. Wonderful location and particularly enjoyed the view from the 10th floor breakfast area.

An old hotel. Very dated, not well maintenances. Not so clean, breakfast is poor.
We didn't enjoy at all.
I was totaly surprised to see in the reception the hotel rank 9.4 . It is simply impossible!
