I had a nice worktrip.
Pros:

The breakfast was good, the room nice and slightly modernized. De bathroom was comfortable although a bit dated. The HDMI ports of the TV were exposed so I could use a chrome-cast.

Cons:

Every time I got to my room there was an issue either with accessing the room or using the TV. For some reason the booking system failed every time. The response of the staff was not apologetic but rather dismissive or even slightly accusing.

The head pillow was so big that I could not rest comfortably with it.

Große Katastrophe im bayerischen Hof
Pros:

Das erste Zimmer war komplett nicht gereinigt, so dass ich das Zimmer wechseln musste. Das zweite Zimmer hatte eine kaputte Dusche im Bad, weshalb ich in ein drittes Zimmer umziehen musste. Als das erfolgt war, hatte das Bistro auch geschlossen und ich bin ohne Essen ins Bett. Der Nachtparty war sehr freundlich, konnte die Situation aber auch nicht retten.

Cons:

Die Zimmer waren allesamt deutlich heruntergekommen und für ein Viersternehotel, was ich auch noch „Hof“ nennt völlig in akzeptabel. Ich hatte jahrelang keinen solchen Fehlgriff mehr.

Für einen Städteaufenthalt gutes und persönliches Hotel.
Pros:

Die zentrale und dennoch ruhige Lage. Das sehr gute Frühstücksbüffet mit regionalen Spezialitäten im außergewöhnlichem Gewölbekeller. Freundlicher Service in allen Hotelbereichen.

Cons:

Die Kopfkissen in den ansonsten guten Betten, da würde ich mir eine Kissenauswahl wünschen.

Im Badezimmer geht das Licht nur mit Bewegungsmelder an. Wenn man nachts auf Toilette muss, ist das Licht sehr grell.
