my reservation was not made 2 hours waited at the door I re-entered with my money
The hotel may be a bit dated but they were comfy. The rooms were something out of the 70's. Breakfast was included in a very good price. Staff were friendly. Not in the best part of town but only about 20 minutes walk from town.
Helpful staff but hotel is tired tv did not work and toilet would not flush put both were put right after we reported them room smelt of smoke even though it was a non smoking room
The rooms were clean. It was as if the door was a portal to 1974!
I liked it. But i am a retro kinda person.
The breakfast was ok. Nothing to write home about.
One of the night staff was a little un-interested in our needs. Then the next day the guy could not do enough. So it might have been just the one night porter. But did make things bad for us.
The street and the area is a little seedy. Strip bars and gambling in the bad end of town. A bit noisey.
Strong smell of smoke in the whole hotel, internet not working, TV not working, run down and in a street with sex clubs. But the staff was friendly.
Excellent hotel, the staff were incredibly helpful. Very nice room, and excellent breakfast. Very handy for the train station, too.
還可以,謝謝。
The location of this hotel gives it a lower rating than what it deserves, but I have to be honest, it is in a bad section of the city of Dusseldorf. On our street there were at least three each strip bars and table dancing. I felt bad bringing my family here. The hotel is nice and the rooms are adequate and clean. The bathroom has a very low shower head which makes it difficult to stand under.
Stayed here with my boyfriend as we were going to a show in the mitsubishi electric hall!! The hotel is in a very bad area of Dusseldorf, lots of strip clubs and sex shops and pretty much a ghetto! The staff are extremely friendly though, the rooms are clean and it's only a 10 minute walk yo the centre of Dusseldorf!
For a budget hotel not bad. Clean, large rooms and nice staff. Breakfast was OK Bar was good. Street Noise was bad, very bad. Area was dodgy unless you like strip clubs and table dancing. Very close to the main railway station but back to the 70@s for decor.
Perfect for a short stay with the lads.
Numerous lap dancing clubs on the same street!!!
Ten minute walk to the old town.
The rooms were dated but clean and cheap.
Secure parking available across the road in an underground car park.
Spot on for a boozy weekend in Düsseldorf.
clean, comfortable, friendly staff, accommodated our early arrival. the staff was friendly and were informative to our various questions. reading lamps a bit dull for my old eyes. otherwise the place was very nice. we were on the sixth floor. easy access via stairs or elevator. the included breakfast provided a wide selection of meats, cheeses, bread, cereals. i would stay there again. room wifi was a bit sketchy. 5 minute walk from the dusseldorf hbf and 10 minute walk to old town.
Stayed here with two friends for two night. Hotel is located within a 5/10 minute walk from the main train station and a 15/20 minute walk to the main bar area of the city so an ideal location.
Rooms were very dated but were clean and the beds comfortable and suited our needs as we were rarely in the hotel. Had breakfast one of the days which was your basic continental breakfast.
Hotel staff were friendly enough although we had limited contact with them.
Wouldn't advise staying with younger children as there are a few strip clubs/casino's on the same street but as adults it was fine.
So the location seems to be in the worst part of dusseldorf....theres hundreds of homeless peopl ever where, sitting and sleeping even in boxes...... I barely saw at least some white/german faces......It seems to be very dangerous to be on streets even on day time...... Its very dirty around there, like all garbages where thrown on the streets at the same time.......
The hotel gives terrible breakfast..no choice at all.poor and dry.... And Same ever day.
The room for 2 was ok wi th size, we easily fit there extra bed...but very old bathroom ,unrenovated since the hotel was built I guess...... The room wasnt cleaned for 2 days.... Until I complained finally.... Maybe they clean it depending on their mood.... the only what was really nice is Reception service... all workers were nice and attentive....... the only PLUS i can give to this hotel is for that....
I really dont u derstand for what Are they charging such money + breakfast which is better to miss and eat at some cafe.....
I totally dont reccomend....
Stayed here with 2 friends for a 40th burthday get away for the weekend. About a ten minute walk into the centre. Get what you pay for but is ideal if your only wanting a place to lay your head as we did. Friendly staff. Clean rooms.
Stayed for 4 nights in Feb. The room was warm , Beds were comfy. Staff friendly and helpful. The location is slightly seedy , but really nothing you don't see in any city. Very close to the excellent Dusseldorf transport system, less than 5 mins walk from the main train station, and plenty of places to eat nearby. I stayed with my kids... and it was fine. Value for money.
I only stayed here a night and it was fine.
The location is good for the train station, but there are lots of North Africans / Arabs around and I did notice a German lady receiving verbal sexual abuse as she walked down the street in the early evening.
The hotel is priced very competitively and the room is comfortable enough. My room was quiet and faced a kind of internal area.
The guy on reception was very good with excellent spoken English.
I would be happy to stay here again.
I stayed at Acon for 1 night in january 2016. The hotel is located not far away (up to 10 min. walk) from Dusseldorf main train station. It is simple low budget hotel, one of the cheapest around train station. Hotel decor enough old fashioned. Wi-fi is free but slow. The hotel staff at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, great value for money.
If you're looking for simple accommodation just for sleeping in then this is hotel for you.
This is a clean hotel with a good breakfast and very friendly English speaking staff. The car parking and cost of the hotel is value for money, however the location can be noisy as it's close to the railway station, although inside the hotel it's not noticable. Its a good location for the centre of town with trams, buses and taxis available, but walking around at night can feel unnerving as this appears to be part of the "red light area" Although Wi-fi was free it was very patchy, but worked downstairs in the lobby best of all. There is a bar open all day which was very reasonably priced.
