Teleurstellend door niet serieus nemen klacht.
Pros:

De uitstraling van het landgoed. Goed onderhouden gebouwen, mooie inrichting en prachtige tuin.

Cons:

De klantvriendelijkheid van het personeel in de receptie van het hotel was ver te zoeken (slecht). Zij ontkenden volhardend een probleem bij een serieuze klacht. Wij hadden de laatst beschikbare kamer via Booking.com, de zgn. Kleine ‘cosy’ tweepersoons kamer voor 2 nachten met ontbijt € 460. Een pittige prijs voor 12 m2. Het bleek een zolderkamer te zijn, waarvan het raam niet open kon. De vrijstaande airco-unit stond op 50cm van het bed op de grond. Je stootte continu je hoofd tegen de dakspanten en wij zijn niet echt niet lang. Toen we hierover klaagden werden we niet serieus genomen met allerlei uitvluchten. Dit was zeer teleurstellend. Voor de 2e dag konden we met bijbetaling een betere kamer krijgen.

Fabulous property but won’t return because of poor restaurant experience
Pros:

A beautiful well maintained property with a lot of history in the quaint village of Crépon
We had a superior room which was very comfortable & well appointed.
The reception was efficient, friendly & welcoming

Cons:

The welcome in the restaurant was again friendly and the staff genial.
Unfortunately we waited a long time to order our food with long waits between courses. Other tables were served much quicker & had arrived after us & left before
The food was mediocre and was really style over substance.
At breakfast there was a good choice of items and great to have freshly squeezed orange juice

Fantastic location and setting. Exceeded our expectations.
Pros:

The entire hotel location and facility exceeded our expectation. The room was fantastic and the room facilities were great. Staff was very nice and helpful. The restaurant and bar were both good and helpful. Breakfast was very good with many options.

Cons:

I have no complaints.

lovely place could do with a little more investment in the bathrooms
Pros:

allowing the property to being over 200 years old the room size was understandably on the smaller size, but perfectly adequate

Cons:

the shower was over a bath with no grab handles to assist in getting in or out would have preferred a shower cubilcle. No room had a separate shower

A true gem
Pros:

This was our second time staying at this hotel and it was wonderful. The property is beautiful; the rooms are quaint and charming and full of character. The staff couldn't have been kinder or more helpful.

Cons:

If we had any disappointment, it was with the food. The breakfast has significantly changed from 10 years ago, and though it was fine, it was very basic and it wasn't like it used to be. We did have dinner there one night and I would rate it as a 7/10. There are plenty of good restaurants within 10k, so finding good places to eat is not an issue. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, and we will be staying there again.

Hôtel magnifique. Restaurant hélas à éviter
Pros:

L’environnement est exceptionnel, personnel parfait

Cons:

Dommage isolation phonique (entre la chambre et le couloir) un peu léger pour un quatre étoiles. Sinon pour l’hôtel rien à dire. Par contre très grosse déception sur le restaurant : mauvais accueil (tables trop proches les unes des autres, quand on demande une autre table on nous répond que c’est complet alors que des tables sont restées vides). Tartare de Saint Jacques non assaisonnées une seule Saint-Jacques, ris de veau trop cuit, … Erreur sur l’apéritif servi. Obligé de réclamer des olives pourtant distribuées sur toutes les tables avec l’apéritif. Impossible d’avoir un conseil pour un vin. Bref je ne recommande en aucun cas le restaurant. Dommage pour l’hôtel
