They shut the bar on Saturday night for a private function & guests from the hotel couldn’t use the bar which was a total disgrace to be honest. I think we should have some sort of special discount ref this ?

Schöner Aufenthalt im Hotel The George Hamburg
Pros:

Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt im The George Hamburg sehr zufrieden. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut und die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel befinden sich direkt vor der Tür, sodass man bequem unterwegs ist. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben sind das freundliche Personal und das sehr gute Parkhaus. Auch mit unserem großen Auto hatten wir ausreichend Platz, was wirklich angenehm war.

Unser Zimmer war geräumig und bot genügend Platz. Lediglich die Wasserbereitstellung auf dem Zimmer hat am ersten Tag gefehlt, wurde am zweiten Tag aber nachgeholt.

Das Frühstück haben wir nicht ausprobiert, dafür haben wir an einem Abend die Bar besucht, die uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen hat. Ein toller Ort, um den Abend gemütlich ausklingen zu lassen.

Alles in allem ein gutes Hotel, in dem wir uns wohlgefühlt haben. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das The George Hamburg weiterempfehlen!

Pros:

Spacious clean rooms, nice environment, relaxed times for checkout and breakfast. Worth mentioning that they have an inclusive breakfast with a variety of vegan options.

Für den Preis gibt es in Hamburg inzwischen bessere Alternativen
Pros:

Das Hotel, das früher zu meinen Lieblingshotels in Hamburg gehört, ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Was mir auffiel, dass die Steckdosen nicht ausreichend vorhanden sind und dass es keine USB Anschlüsse gab.
Das Personal ist zwar bemüht, aber etwas unbeholfen wie zum Beispiel falsche Nummer Ausgabe bei der Gepäckausgabe umständliche Diskussionen beim Frühstück
