Very helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful hotel in a very convenient location. Fantastic food.
Nothing to dislike.
Rumor was extremely small difficult to even lay out our clothes
That room is only big enough for one person
Bar area was lovely both Inside and out.
I prefer to make coffee in the room rather than have to stipulate a time to b served in my room.
Interior and building were beautifully maintained and the terrace, fountains and garden just lovely.
Staff extremely helpful with any questions, and assisted to store my medication with no issues.
Dinner in the gastrolounge was superb, Kate our waitperson was lovely.
Enjoyed a coffee in my room, at first I wasn’t sure I liked the idea of having to call reception for this, but it was easy.
Really comfy & huge bed! Thank you

The afternoon tea was the highlight of our stay! Thanks for providing gluten free options.

the prices
Beautiful quaint hotel. Super comfortable bed. Very friendly and very helpfull staff.
Nothing to dislike about this hotel
The charm of the property, the proximity to the town, professional and friendly staff, lovely breakfast
nothing
Fabulous lunch with a great variety to select from the bar food menu. Lovely homely atmosphere in the bar, almost like stepping back in time to a period drama setting. The food was excellent in terms of quality and the service from the staff was friendly and efficient. Definitely a great place to visit for lunch, Dinner or just a quiet drink at the bar.
Loved absolutely everything. Outdoor setting.. smell of good food on arrival, the decor is so tasty! Room for perfect, pity we didn't stay longer!
Nothing
Staff customer service (went above and beyond), cleanliness and character of historical building.
Room really warm in hot weather and hard to ventilate, even with open window. If AC not possible in older building, fans would have been ideal.
Location great, staff lovely, quiet, breakfast good.
Single room tiny, acrobatic skills needed to get to window and chair. No tea/coffee making facilities although advertised.
Bathroom tight, too. When using toilet you have the wash hand basin on your lap. 2 taps, no mixer, water flow erratic.
Great outdoor terrace with plenty of tables and seating, but no smoking area. Was told to go and stand in the carpark. Smokers def not welcome, only their money...
All that for €159 for 1 night/ 1 person! Never again.
A gem... super comfortable stay, close to town, great food and quiet at night. Close enough to Dublin airport before returning home.
Firstly, great location and lovely staff. However, I was with a disabled person and the outside lift was very dubious and didn't work properly. There was the same type of lift inside which also not great. Main restaurant was not open so we had our meal in the bar lounge, very uncomfortable with 6 people at two round tables. Signs outside stating there was no smoking. Staff said only smoking in the carpark. Food was very expensive fish and burgers excellent but basic chips were disgusting. The desserts was nice but very small. The bedroom we had was very small and had no tea or coffee making facilities. Reception said we could ring down for tea or coffee and any time free of charge but when 2 of our party wanted coffee before bed they were told the coffee machine was after being cleaned so gave them tea in paper cups. When they requested a biscuit to go with the tea the waitress said that the chef had gone home. Eventually someone opened the biscuits. Overall I wouldn't recommend, considering the price and in general feeling of being treated in quite a basic way. Definitely never going back.
The building was lovely, very well appointed rooms! The restaurant terrace was lovely for supper. Great ambiance. The staff were very kind as well!
