Pros:

The employees were kind. They did an excellent job.

Cons:

In the toilet area the paint was peeling and there was mold. The holder for the shower head was broken and had not been fixed in a long time. The wall piece was rusting. The breakfast was less than good. The eggs appeared to have been cooked and then refrigerated and warmed up. The pancakes were hard and cold. Everything looked less than appetizing. The windows in the room collected moisture that dripped onto an unstable table. The picture that is used for advertising looked way nicer than the room actually is.

Great location and friendly helpful staff.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful (we don't speak French). Breakfast was tasty, fresh scrammbled eggs lovely. Receptionists took time to recommend bars and restaurants. Location was excellent for getting into town and also as a base for the Normandy Beaches. A good all round experience

Un hôtel central dans une belle ville

L’emplacement, la literie.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner le premier matin. Descendus à 8h 30 un groupe de jeunes avait « liquidé » : pains, croissanterie, charcuterie, œufs brouillés… Plus rien, une razia ! Nous avons bénéficié de Cracottes. Les employés étaient très ennuyés. Le lendemain la direction a proposé de rembourser deux petits-déjeuners.
Le même groupe a fait beaucoup de bruits pendant la nuit. Nuit difficile.

If the basics are all you require, Hotel Bayeux is the spot for you.
Pros:

The whole point of going to Bayeux is seeing the invasion area. For a solo traveler Hotel Bayeux is a perfect spot. Within walking distance of train station. Very good continental breakfast. Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

I have nothing negative to say. Lot bag for your buck.

Pros:

What a great find. Beautiful family run hotel. Plenty of character. A short walk into town. On road parking easy enough in the quieter months or you can park on site for a few. The family were lovely and very accommodating. Wonderful breakfast. Comfy beds. Rooms that can easily sleep a family or 5-6 people. No complaints. Thank you.
