Betnava Hotel Maribor

Hotel sympa, bon lit, chambre très correcte et propre et parking gratuit. Seul bémol, c'est un peu éloigné du centre ville, pas pratique pour faire un tour en centre ville le soir, après le boulot, comme c'était mon cas.

Mais le petit-déj est bon et leur service de spa également.

Nice hotel with a good value!

The hotel was very clean but lacked basic things, only one towel in bathroom, either Ginseng or Chamomile tea, no black tea, milk or coffee. Breakfast sparse continental breakfast not a great deal of choice.
Fine for a short break but fairly expensive for the standard.
Very noisy outside with cafe and gym bringing lots of vehicles.
Strange layout with reception on 2nd floor?

We had an absolutely great Breakfast in the morning

1. Extremely happy with the person when I checked in.
2. Extremely Happy with the person who helped with Breakfast.
3. Wanted a big bed, but got two small ones connected as one - Someone must explain that this is not the same.

Best choice if you are looking for a stay in Maribor. Nice and very helpful personal.
Quiet location . Not far from city center. Very clean and nice rooms.
We allways use this hotel for our business partners from all around the world and we and our guest was allways very satisfied with them

We are Marriott hotel clients but there aren't any Marriott hotels in this area and so we decided to stay in this hotel based on the positive reviews. Not disappointed for a budget hotel with all the basic needs met. The lady at the reception, Maja is very pleasant and helped us with the safe which wasn't working. She also recommended a restaurant for a reasonable price. The 3 course meal costs 15 Euro per person. Portion served was big and mostly delicious Slovenian dishes.
Breakfast was sufficient and you could get made to order omelet. Overall good value!

Alles war gut, allerdings waren Nachts viele laute Geräusche zu hören und der das Licht ging spontan an.

Nice place, good breakfast and pleasant staff. Rooms are not large but extremely comfortable with amazingly comfortable beds and thick cotton bedsheets you cannot find anywhere else.

Good choice for overnight stay. Simple and clean - and that's it

The hotel is modern and the service is correct. But there is nothing special about it, maybe besides the fact that there is a large fitness center in the second floor (the hotel starts in the third floor) if this is what you specifically appreciate.

The hotel claims to have the best breakfast in town, but while the breakfast is correct, it is neither exceptional and definitely not better than the one of its competitors. No clue what this claim is based on. Some more attention to little details on the breakfast buffet might sometimes even be necessary.

A good hotel with lots of free parking. Rooms are comfortable, unfortunately without view. Reception open 24 hours. Breakfast is not something special, I recommend pastry and fruit. Breakfast in the room is possible for a surcharge. The hotel also offers massages with prior notice. Prices are moderate.

I’ve been staying at this hotel a few years ago and I’ve stayed recently for a few nights. It’s a 4 star hotel but I would really rate it as a 3 star. It used to be really good about 8 years ago but this time I was disappointed. But first what I liked:
1) I could check in early at no extra charge which I really appreciated after long trip
2) hotel is only couple of minutes away from the shopping centre, public transport,...
3) room was comfortable and plenty of storage
4) very fast free WiFi
5) cleanliness of the room 8/10
And now some downsides:
1) there’s nobody to help you with the luggage
2) I also wasn’t very pleased with the fact that the hotel allows dogs or pets, I should say
3) windows don’t have flyscreens so if you open the window, all sorts of bugs will come in
4) choose a room at the back of the hotel. There’s a bar below the hotel and it can be noisy until very late
5) don’t have high expectations, reception staff smiles but will never greet you unless you say “hi” first
6) there is no stationary in the room, not a single piece of paper or pen in case you need it
7) no coffee in the room, only tea. When I’ve asked for coffee I was told there is none. No milk either. Only 1-2 sachets of tea daily.
8) no face washers in the bathroom, no toiletries such as cotton wool, tissues, ear buds, body moisturiser and everything you expect in a 4 star hotel. No bathrobe or slippers. If you want it go and ask for it and they’ll give it to you. Very poor pillow quality, lumpy and uncomfortable.
9) poor buffet breakfast - nobody will come to offer tea/coffee. If you want it you have to chase it. Bread NOT fresh, I suspect it may have come from the freezer? Every day exactly the same food, the same salami, same cheese, same sausages and so on. Unattractive fruit, all the time the same. No food variety what so ever, it doesn’t seem that anyone care. Staff walks around without a word, no good morning, no goodbye, unless you say it first.
Breakfast used to be great years ago, it’s unfortunate that it has changed for the worse.
If you’re happy to compromise and if none of the above bothers you then I would recommend the stay. But if you want value and quality for your money then you may want to go somewhere else, it’s plenty of accommodation around.

Sehr große Zimmer im Suit. Wohnzimmer mit Küche und 2 Schlafzimmer mit eigenen Bad Tressor und Balkon mit Ligestuhlen. Sauber.

We were 5 families who booked 6 rooms for one night on our way back home from vacation. They have everything you need: free parking places, free wifi, friendly and english speaking staff, good breakfast! Some say also nice massagge! The rooms are not very big, but for one night it is perfect! I strongly reccomend it
