Pros:

I had a very positive impression during my stay there. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful. I would especially like to mention Kitty Zhang, who helped me several times when English proficiency and internet communication were needed.
The breakfast buffet was sumptuous and the room was clean and spacious, with good room service.
I also liked the location because it is close to many good restaurants and little shops. I even found a lovely antique shop nearby. It is also just a two-minute walk from Spring City, a large and luxurious shopping mall that has just about everything you could need. The busy tourist center of Kunming is about a ten minute taxi ride.

Dirty old work out hotel
Pros:

Breakfast - if that is more important to you than a room then you will like it !!!!!!! Because that is the ONLY good thing

Cons:

The hotel is very old - lots of stains - I dont mean a few off marks, we are talking about whole walls with stains across. The carpet (well, I think it was carpet) is filty and worn.

Excellent hotel with great value for money
Pros:

Excellent services by staff. Fabulous breakfast every morning. Close to metro station. Very good value for money.

Cons:

It's not the fault of the hotel, but the TV doesn't seem to support YouTube etc, which can be a disappointment for people from overseas.

Pros:

The location was perfect. Surrounded with big malls. They upgraded us to Suite Rooms at free of cost. Except the door locks other things of the room are okay.

Cons:

One Door Lock. One of the Door Locks was faulty and it was difficult to open that door.

Cons:

Although it was a Holiday Inn the staff spoke hardly any English. I am from Hong Kong but I do not speak Putonghua. When my wife Hong Kong Alipay didn't work I asked the Hotel to refund the balance of the deposit to me by cash so that I can pay for the taxi, but the hotel sid it cannot be done. In the end we phoned our friend in Kwunming and they got a Didi for us. The front desk was totally unhelpful to assist us to solve this problem. I am disappointed with the service. As an international brand hotel, it is their business to ensure that the front desk staff can speak simple English!

Buena relación calidad precio, buena situación y personal serviciable y atento pero con poco inglés.
Pros:

Ubicación correcta, de los 2 desayunos solo uno, correcto, falta atencion y algo de limpieza en restaurante, algo saturado por las mañanas.

Old-fashioned-bit rundown-low price to value- good location
Pros:

Overvalued hotel , that does not deliver what it promises on its website, images ..
Pretty rundown facilities, last-time renovation seems at least 20 years ago .. broken furniture , moldy bathroom .. it all needs a thorough modernisation effort to Make it update to date and priceworthy again.
On the positive side : good location, you can visit Almost everything by foot.
