Osmanhan Hotel

I wanted to share my experience for anyone considering a stay at Osmanhan Hotel. The hotel is right in the heart of Sultanahmet, and the location couldn’t be more convenient—places like Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and the Basilica Cistern are all just a few minutes’ walk away. The best part is that despite being so central, it sits on a quiet and peaceful street, away from the noisy main roads.

The hotel features an Ottoman-style design with fine details that really let you feel the area's rich history. The rooms are very clean, authentic, and comfortable. After walking around Istanbul all day, it’s a wonderful place to return to and unwind.

The staff at the front desk and around the hotel deserve a special mention as well. They are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with local recommendations or anything else you might need. What I appreciated most was that while they are very attentive, they never crowd you, creating a really relaxed atmosphere.

Having breakfast on the rooftop terrace with a great view was also a brilliant way to start the day.

If you’re looking for a place close to historical sites that is clean, quiet, and offers a warm, authentic, home-like feel, I highly recommend it.

The breakfast is delicious, the lady who prepares it is very kind, it reminded me of eating home-cooked food.

Самые добрые впечатления от проживания в отеле. В номере очень чисто и комфортно! Уборка каждый день. Несмотря на близкое к историческому центру расположение отеля в отеле очень тихо, нам прекрасно спалось. В номерах есть кондиционер. Вкусные сытные завтраки, по запросу могут приготовить яичницу. Приятный, вежливый и отзывчивый персонал. Нам помогли поднять чемоданы (лифта нет). В шаговой доступности от отеля куча кафе и ресторанов за адекватные деньги. По пути к мечети - турецкий базар.

Osmanhan is a wonderfully clean and well-maintained hotel where everything is done with taste, love, and care. The staff is kind and friendly—not just with the guests, which might be expected, but, as can be observed, also with each other. This suggests good working conditions, so if that is important to you, you may find it here.

The hotel is exceptionally well located, just steps away from major sights and local mosques. Although situated in a generally busy part of the city, the atmosphere inside is relatively quiet. I stayed on one of the upper floors and slept soundly every night; the view was simply wonderful. This is also true for the breakfast hall on the top floor, which offers ample seating both inside and outside—more than one might expect for a hotel of this size, ensuring plenty of options for all guests regardless of the weather.

True to the general care with which this establishment is run, everything at breakfast is freshly prepared, with new specials added daily to provide variety. During my visit, breakfast was prepared with great care by Mrs. Sevda who is truly a charm!

The staff in general is wonderful and is definitely a reason to choose Osmanhan over other locations in the future. Sevda, Ramziye from housekeeping, as well as Mehdi and Nuri at the front desk, are really wonderful, helpful, and warm-hearted people. May they be kept well and safe until next time I visit Istanbul; I much hope to see them again, God willing.

A very friendly, compact and characterful hotel in a wonderful location. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and the views from the breakfast room were stunning. The reception guys could not have been more helpful- giving great suggestions with a friendly smile and looking after our bags on the last day. Thanks to all the staff.

I had a really enjoyable stay at Osmanhan Hotel. The staff were very kind and attentive, always willing to assist whenever needed. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well taken care of, which made the stay quite comfortable.

The hotel’s location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transport. The breakfast was tasty and offered a decent selection.
