Pros:

Zimmer und Bad sind schon okay. Insbesondere sehr freundlicher Empfang und Hilfe beim Hochschleppen des Gepäcks. Wenige Minuten zum Volg, auch eine Schnellladestelle für Autos ist sehr nah.

Cons:

Der gemeinsame Balkon mit dem Nachbarzimmer ohne Abtrennung - diese Nachbarn schauen einem dann ins Bett. Kein Lift, dafür enge Treppen.
Der Hype um eher bemühende elektronische Checkin/ Checkout-Prozesse trägt hier eher unangenehme Züge, insbesondere, wenn man nur 1 Nacht bleibt. Am Ende wird dann noch zu viel für die Minibar abgebucht - ohne detaillierten Beleg. Dass man für offene Parkplätze einfach vor dem Haus belastet wird, scheint ungewöhnlich. Frühstück nur bis 9:30 Uhr und dann ist das Rührei vergammelt.
Alles eigentlich Kleinigkeiten, die insgesamt aber den Eindruck stören.

Ejoyed it with my whole family.

Pros:

Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Trotz sehr kurzfristige Reservation (eine Stunde vorher) war das Zimmer bei Ankunft schon bereit.

Ich kann die vielen positiven Bewertungen dieses Hotels absolut nicht nachvollziehen.

Wir sind mit zwei Kleinkindern angereist und gerade deshalb erwartet man bei diesem hohen Preis und der angeblich so guten Bewertung, dass man entspannt einchecken und seinen Urlaub genießen kann. Dafür zahlt man schließlich auch gerne mehr. Die Realität war leider ein absoluter Reinfall und in vielerlei Hinsicht unter aller Sau.

Das größte Problem war die komplett kalte Heizung. Uns wurde dann gesagt, dass die Heizung im gesamten Haus schlichtweg ausgeschaltet worden ist – offensichtlich um Geld zu sparen. Und das bei nächtlichen Temperaturen um die 0 Grad. Statt das Problem vernünftig zu lösen, wurde uns später sogar vermittelt, die Heizung wäre nun „extra für uns“ eingeschaltet worden – als wäre eine funktionierende Heizung in einem Hotel etwas Besonderes und kein absoluter Mindeststandard.

Gerade wenn man mit zwei kleinen Kindern reist, ist so etwas ein absolutes No-Go und macht die ganze Situation noch deutlich brisanter. Statt dass sich direkt darum gekümmert wird, musste man stundenlang hinterherrennen, mehrfach nachfragen und diskutieren, bis überhaupt etwas passiert ist. Man hatte die ganze Zeit das Gefühl, sich für berechtigte Beschwerden rechtfertigen zu müssen.

Der Gipfel war dann der Hausmeister, der einen auch noch regelrecht angepöbelt hat, weil er sich überhaupt um das Problem kümmern musste. So ein Verhalten gegenüber zahlenden Gästen – erst recht gegenüber einer Familie mit kleinen Kindern – ist einfach respektlos und völlig unprofessionell.

Generell hatte man ständig das Gefühl, dass der Gast hier als Problem angesehen wird, anstatt lösungsorientiert zu handeln. Statt professionellem Service wird lieber diskutiert und versucht, berechtigte Beschwerden kleinzureden.

Die gesamte Einrichtung ist stark veraltet und renovierungsbedürftig. Möbel und Ausstattung wirken alt, abgenutzt und passen überhaupt nicht zu dem Preisniveau, das hier verlangt wird.

Loved the quirkiness
Pros:

Loved the quirkiness of the hotel. Staff were great. Loved the room stocked fridge. Drinks at the bar were Swiss, but it was nice to try their version of cider, and my fiancé tried their version of Coke zero

Cons:

Food is a little overpriced. Was disappointed that there was no toaster at breakfast. Would be nice to adjust to accommodate British tourists
