Hotel Cristallo

This is a fabulous place for families with children. The location is close to everything needed for skiing and near the charming city center. Best of all, everyone who works in this family-run hotel is super friendly and helpful. The food is wonderful and there are great activities for children...so the adults can relax and enjoy themselves as well!

Struttura ben gestita, personale disponibile, cucina di ottimo livello, camere silenziose ma potrebbero essere attrezzate meglio (ciabatte di cortesia, set doccia shampoo…), molto pulita e ben funzionante la zona spa con idromassaggio, piscina e saune. Posizione centrale a Dobbiaco e di immediato accesso alla statale della Val Pusteria.

Food is AMAZING! Dinner is different everyday! With beautiful and calm Sauna, a small gym. Skigebiet near by. This place is the best! Ppl here are so nice and friendly and professional . Everything is top top top!
They offer yoga twice per week, the yoga teacher we met was calm, relaxing, good for after Ski.
There is a ski slip behind the door, it opens sometimes depends on the weather.
There is lift for if you come with many luggages.
I would love to come back again, highly recommend!

Io e mia moglie abbiamo soggiornato nella prima settimana di settembre. Tutto perfetto, dall'accoglienza, alla camera, alla raffinata cucina (sia colazione che cena. Anche per me, vegetariano, c'era un apposito menu serale riportato nella carta, il che non è scontato in altri hotel anche della stessa categoria).
Il personale sempre professionale, ma gentile e disponibile, Abbiamo ricevuto dalla reception diverse informazioni su escursioni e varie possibilità.
Pulizia della camera e bagno impeccabili.
Ottimi anche i servizi di piscina, vasca idromassaggio e sauna. In special modo lo stato della piscina particolarmente curata, sia nel contesto, che nell'acqua e nella pulizia dei locali.
Posizione eccellente per il panorama dalla camera, sia in quanto posizione centrale rispetto al paese e alle possibilità di escursioni.

Ottima struttura con tutti i servizi. Bella la piscina e la sauna.

Situato in una bella zona di Dobbiaco, in centro, ma tranquilla. Base ideale per le escursioni a Braies, Cortina e Lienz.

Hotel, bello, fermata ski bus di fronte, camere spaziose, c è addirittuta uno zaino a disposizione. Internet ok, cibo ottimo. Zona wellness pilota e completa anche con angolo rinfresco

Hotel funzionale per ogni percorso di montagna e laghi

Ho avuto una buonissima esperienza, hotel dotato di vari comfort. La mia era una stanza singola discreta, che non aveva però il balcone ma una finestra, dotata comunque di ciò che è necessario. Noto che ultimamente gli hotel, anche quelli maggiormente stellati, hanno tagliato abbastanza sulla fornitura di prodotti in bagno, come bagnoschiuma , ecc. Sapendo di andare in un hotel a 4 stelle non dovrei preoccuparmi di portarmi dietro prodotti che solitamente venivano forniti di dotazione in bagno. Non mancava comunque nulla, anche se in quantità non abbondante. Il personale ed il gestore gentili, pronti ed attenti alle esigenze del cliente. Ottima la qualità del ristorante ed una bellissima zona benessere, dotata di ogni comfort.

The Hotel Cristallo is just off the main street in Tobblach ( Dobiacco). It was built when Sud Tirol was part of Austria and the ambience is almost entirely Austrian but with cappucino and spaghetti as well. It ws the first hotel in what was then a sleepy village and was built to be close to the northern facing slopes to the south. Sadly these no longer get enough snow so it is a bus ride to the new ski centre to the north or to the station. The bus bahnhof is within 100 metres of the hotel from whence you can travel with a free pass to any of the tracks through the forests or even over the mountain range to Cortina - which is much more Italian. The railway which runs along the valley and connects to Innsbruck in one direction and to southern Austria in the other also has stations close to ski tracks.

For cross country skiing it is one of the best stations in Europe, guaranteed good snow as most of the tracks run through tall trees. Locals mostly are happier speaking German than Italian and English ability is limited..

Most hotel guests are German and are friendly, usually speaking better English than the staff. We also shared the hotel with the US Army cross country ski team but they were very self-absorbed and did not realise that we spoke english. Meals include a generous Austrian-style breakfast with cappucino and dishes like wiener schnitzel with spagheti in the evening. The local wine is a thin mountain red, but very palatable after a long day in the snow.

The waitresses dressed in traditional Austrian clothes are pretty and helpful even with demanding Americans. The hotel is warm and has both a sauna and a small pool. Each room, though small and sparsely furnished has a balcony where you can snack and drink from items bought at the nearby supermarket.

The owner, who inherited the hotel from his father, lacks bonhomie, but he responds better in German than English.i

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the food was good, spa was really nice and most of the staff was really really good and very friendly. Don't understand how the staff could be so good when the manager seemed to go out of his way to be stuffy - definitely didn't make us feel welcome. Had a good stay nonetheless. Wish that they would serve caffè, cappuccino, etc. after dinner. It was readily available in the bar, and I guess they want to draw you down there, but having a cappuccino after dinner at the table would be a nice touch. No regrets, but will choose a different hotel next time I'm there.

For those of you who haven't discovered the beauty of the Italian Alps you're in for a real surprise when you travel to the area known as the Sud Tyrole. The towns are ancient and charming and the cross country skiing exceptional. We haven't been here in the summer but the literature leads me to belive it would be great. For the past 7 years my relatives and I have included this area in our 3 week family get-together winter vacation and for all of those years we've stayed at the Hotel Cristallo in Dobbiaco-Toblach. The Watch family has run the hotel for 3 generations and is currently in the more than capable hands of the 2 brothers, Arvin and Tomas. The hotel is charming, clean, quiet and the staff friendly and helpful. English isn't their strong suit but they will do everything in their power to determine your needs and help you out. The food is tasty with nice variety. We always do half board (breakfast & dinner).
There's a great pool, jacuzzi, saunas and other Vita Health services available. This is truly a jewel in the Italian Dolomite crown!

Sicuramente all'altezza delle mie aspettative. Ci vado da alcuni anni e so che posso stare tranquillo. Personale cortese, cibo buono ed abbondante, buona la zona benessere, camere pulite.

Ho soggiornato con mio marito in questo hotel per 3 notti. L'hotel è sicuramente bello ed elegante. La camera che ci è stata assegnata era molto spaziosa e pulita. La moquet, nonostante non nuova, ben tenuta. Bagno spazioso, un pò retrò. Molti i servizi offerti! dalle escursioni organizzate (di cui non abbiamo potuto usufruire a causa del brutto tempo), lo zaino, opuscoli informativi, etc.. una discreta area wellness con piscina interna, idromassaggio, suane. Altrettanto buona la cucina, 3 menu' a scelta, "standard" la colazione. Tutto bene quindi... unica pecca è la sensazione di poco "calore", che invece ci si aspetta in un hotel montano, sia per l'ambiente che per la cucina. non sono pienamente soddisfatta per il rapporto qualità/prezzo

このホテルは、事前に駅に近いとの確認を取っていたが、鉄道のドッピアーコ駅からは１ｋｍ程あった。駅にはタクシーも無く、重いトタンクを引きずってようよう辿り着いた。フロントに「タクシーは呼んで貰えるか」と訪ねると、「当ホテルは駅に近く、タクシーは必要ない」とまくしたてられた。良く聞くとバス駅には４００ｍほどであった。バスを利用できると言いはり、行程を訪ねられ、PCで各種経路を調べた挙句、鉄道でないとだめだと分かると、車で送ると言った。この話に約１時間も要した。

Abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte nella junior suite, ci aspettavamo qualcosa di piu' a livello di dimensioni, pochi prodotti nel bagno, sul balcone le sedie avevano i cuscini strappati e le sdraio decisamente bruttine...per non parlare della vista scadente e del fatto che non c'era la luce esterna. Le note positive comunque non mancano; dalla gentilezza della reception ai camerieri , alla pulizia , ottima colazione, tantissimo materiale informativo su cosa vedere e fare..nel complesso lo consiglieremmo sicuramente anche per un soggiorno piu' lungo.
