Cons:

Poor old tired hotel design generally Long drab corridors. Tight parking - lots of cars had been scraped on the metalwork. Awful steep stairs as entry to the tired old room.

Pros:

Great location convenient; standard ‘does the job’ accomodation. Very helpful and accommodating staff.

Cons:

Very tired fixtures and fittings. At least more than 20 years old. Needs a good refurbishment. Taps loose, curtains falling off rods, carpet exposing concrete substraight. Could be better cared for with more attention to detail.

Great location for what we needed.
Pros:

We had a function at the Brighton Yacht Club across the road so the location was perfect. Our room wasn't ready but we were able to check in and park our car it new hotel carpark and attend the function.s

Tired old design for which staff cannot compensate...
Pros:

Great location.
Clean and comfortable bed and bathroom.

Cons:

- Hold open front door that doesnt hold open.
- Steep stair as the sole access to room was not highlighted at booking nor at check-in.
- Dangerous winder stair at top of flight (unequal going dimension), which could cause an accidental fall. NCC non-compliance.
- Very tight carpark exiting dimensions (even with a medium sized car). No warnings given. Lots of visible scrape marks where drivers have previously scratched their cars.
- Safe was locked on arrival. No Safety box access information provided.
- Poor acoustics between room and wc.
