Good place to stay of you are interested in by in the hutsle and bustle of downtown Bangkok.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable and had nice pillows. The room is spacious and includes additional space for sitting. The view from my room on the 2nd floor was of the pool and nearby buildings.

Cons:

The room was above a restaurant/bar, which was very noisy at night and made it difficult to sleep. I was in the city for business and not leisure, so if this is not the case for you, maybe this won't be as much of an issue. Additionally, there were numerous small issues with furniture and bath finishings that were either damaged or broken.

Mercure is the best in the area
Pros:

Mercure is always our #1 hotel to come to and our housekeeper Taew is the best, our room is always very clean and the bathroom is always very clean and tidy.
Taew is excellant in her job and always will help and really friendly.

eten en locatie kje looppt zo de centrum in dus dat is echt goed.ik denk dat je als je de centrum in wilt hier een goede locatie hebt om te verblijfven. heel goed ervaren en de kamers en de loactie is schoon en prima te doen.

het inchecken duurt iets lang maar dat geeft niet, personeel is heel erg vriendelijk en ze willen je graag helpen, wij hebben het heel goed ervaren en de kamers en de loactie is schoon en prima te doen.

Great and comfortable place, very good for when arriving in Bangkok
Pros:

The room was great and the view from my room was also very good. The location is very convenient especially as a place to start your trip. The staff and cleaning personnel were very nice.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike really. The area is quite busy but that will depend on the traveler.

Smelly rooms . Not changed even after requesting twice . Reception girl was rude brash and arrogant , in fact had the audacity to yell on us . Very poor experience. Will never visit this property ever again . Senior management avoided meeting a client even after repeated request . Option was to stay as was prepaid booking for 3 nights or stay elsewhere for extra payment
