Very enjoyable. Lovely location.
Pros:

Excellent food, varied menu, breakfast particularly good especially the fish choices and fresh fruit.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Good to have dinner in front bar and have choice of 2 menus.

Cons:

Heating turned up too high in bathroom and couldn't alter it.

A gem in the moorland and heather bed!
Pros:

The Mallyan Spout Hotel was spotless, rooms were welcoming as were the staff on reception. Breakfasts were plentiful with fanstastic choice of menu. Room #6 was warm, comfortable, with a very comfortable bed to rest weary old bones after days walking around the North Yorkshire Moors and Coast.

Cons:

Sadly we chose not to eat on an evening at the hotel as prices were a little too much for our budget, and found alternatives out and about.

We had a fabulous time and will definitely go again.
