Fabulous.
Pros:

I was very pleasantly surprised by the Ibis at Barangaroo. Being a budget hotel, I thought it would not be so clean and comfortable. The floor we were on was newly renovated and looked like new. The room is small, but for an overnight, or even a few days, it was perfect. Only a few minutes' walk from Wynyard train station, and a couple of hundred metres from Barangaroo restaurant precinct, it was the perfect location for a night out. Also, and easy walk to the rest of the CBD. The staff were very friendly and the lounge area near reception is really lovely. We will stay here again.

Lovely stay in the perfect location
Pros:

Our room was small but very clean and comfortable big enough for all our winter clothes and baggage :)
The cafe in the lobby was excellent beautiful coffee and food 😋

Pros:

The staff were super helpful, they made a good coffee, and the included breakfast had two options, they even accomodated giving it to me take away. I stayed in a Premuim king - it was super comfortable and clean. Gym is basic, but with a couple of machines and weights was enough for what I needed.

Pros:

Staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room and bathroom were really clean and the hotel is in a really nice location which felt safe.

Cons:

The blind on the window wasn't great at keeping the light out so blackout blinds might be better additions.

Our little short stay in Sydney
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and helpful. A special mention to Zayd. He is very pleasant and welcoming. Thank you Zayd 🙏 😊. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone thinking about staying in Sydney. We hopefully will stay there again in the future
