The reception could have been better but we all get tiered

Not at all as clean as I expected. Bins hadn’t been emptied from previous guests . No working lights in one friends room. Disability access not great, lifts not working and despite requesting we didn’t get allocated a walk in shower, so did change room to a single but no reduction in price as we paid for a double

Eigenlijk alles....geen beschrijving of uitleg naar dichtstbijzijnde parkeerplaats. Geen hulp bij mijn man in rolstoel omdat we daarvan door de locatie van parkeerplaats afhankelijk waren. Het diner menu in de bar was niet waar we uit mochten kiezen. Het restaurant dat zeezicht heet mochten we niet bij het raam zitten om zeezicht te hebben als vee over paar tafels verspreid met een zeer teleurstellend mini keuze menu waarvan we ook niet op de hoogte waren gebracht.

Ze zijn hun 3 sterren en de naam royal niet waard.

Lift was out of order. Towel rail did not work. Seagulls were so noisey from 5am.Earplugs should be offered.

Trying to find the hotel room. It was abit if a jigsaw maze. and parking.

Cleanliness of room

The back rooms where we were placed were absolutely disgusting paper peeling from the walls, rubbish in the bins from previous guests and stains on the walls and bedding. Not worth the 119 pound each per couple, my sons room even had the window boarded up which is not acceptable

When we checked in and got up to our room, I stood in a wet patch which appeared to be animal urine. We told reception and they said they would go up to the room to clean it.

During the night we were disturbed numerous times by loud guests swearing shouting and slamming doors arguing so didn’t have the best sleep.

Sash windows need cleaning - need a cherry picker because the room was on the fourth floor of this lovely historic building. Also cobwebs on the high ceiling. Nice spacious room though.

room was awful, dirty and bathroom was mouldy sealant, floor flooded when used shower, sink plud didnt work, extractor fan was not working so melt drains, furniture in bedroom was tatty,light was wonky , tv remote worked the "Fan" paintwork shabby, balkony had a "Food fork" and "Coffee pot" dumped and not cleared away, were given 1 flat pillow, when asked for another the staff were not helpful at all and said "if they had a spare one we could have it" still had to go back after evening drinks to ask again, Also the lift was out and we were on the 3rd floor (Luckily we are fit and could carry our luggage up 3 flights)
