Beautiful, perfect location, lovely staff, good food

Cons:

We booked a small room, gorgeous views, comfy bed, air con but it meant tiny bathroom toilet was in a small cupboard!

Annecy is a beautiful place to visit, the Black Bass is a great place to stay.
Pros:

Location is great, however, be aware that being on the west side of the lake the hotel does not get the sunset. It does of course get a great sunrise. Given the location it is only a 30min walk or 10min cycle ride to old Annecy, which is great. Food the first night was excellent, but a private dining event preclude taking a hotel restaurant meal the next evening.

Cons:

The room was excellent, I thought a superior room had a lake view but I was mistaken and so the view was not what I had expected. However, the lakeside rooms have a fantastic view, just be sure to clarify when booking.

Location superb - excellent views - good size room - very comfortable and clean

Cons:

Lack of table service for drinks on terrace and by pool. More staff needed at breakfast at peak times especially when junior staff are on.

Le cadre de cet établissement est magnifique
La piscine est très belle et le restaurant très bon

Cons:

Les chambres ne sont ni à la hauteur du prix payé, ni à la hauteur d’un 5 étoiles
Nous avions 1 seule télécommande pour deux chambres dans la suite par exemple
La décoration des chambres est à revoir
Les prix du restaurant sont élevés bien que la nourriture soit bonne

Lovely hotel on the lake

Encore un superbe séjour.
Pros:

Emplacement, vue, et surtout personnel au petit soin. Encore un séjour réussi au Black Bass qui est devenu mon adresse de référence lors de mes séjours à Annecy. Un grand bravo au professionnalisme de l’équipe qui anticipe chacun des besoins des clients.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner, bien que copieux, pourrait peut être varié un peu en fonction des jours. Il reste néanmoins très qualitatif.

I loved my stay . I was a lone grandma visiting family who were staying nearby & I enjoyed it.
Pros:

I'd like to thank Dorean - a waiter who exemplified personal service , courtesy and friendliness .

I really liked the terrace which ( as it was a heatwave ) provided a lovely cool place for coffee / drinks

Cons:

The problem with French hotels with a " gastronomic " restaurant is that they become very much a foodie destination. It was disappointing to be refused a table for dinner because we hadn't booked in advance.
