Excellent place
Pros:

Staff are very good, friendly, accommodating and helpful. And actually pleasure to chat to them and sort out all manner of different things.

The location is ideal for the station and, from there, it's a short walk into the city centre.
It's really clean and comfortable. Lovely airy light restaurant. We had the breakfast each morning and there was a very good selection of fresh foods.

Amazing hotel for the price. Welcoming staff. Very clean. Efficient. Bar available. Food looked good.

Worst hotel that I’ve stayed at in Derby
Pros:

Not much. It was clean.

Cons:

The most uncomfortable mattress and pillows that I’ve slept on for a long time. Really bad, lumpy mattress and thin rubbery pillows. The breakfast was very poor - ghastly attempt at scrambled eggs, and no alternative eggs available. Shower was one of those without a door or curtain so it went all over the bathroom floor. And finally the WiFi was unworkable - took 30 seconds to load Google page - had to tether to my phone instead (and it’s not in a good signal area). Worst hotel I’ve stayed in in Derby - and that’s saying a lot.
