Location is ideal, breakfast included in price, easy check in,they kept my luggage while I went for walk.
Reception staff very welcoming.
Lovely view over Tay Bridge while having breakfast
Lovely clean , comfortable rooms , also had a sofa.
Good WiFi
Only for me personally, I did not have a room overlooking the river. Just a brick wall. (My last visit, and had a better view)
Did not enjoy the tiny glasses for my fruit juice in the morning, would prefer a bigger glass.
Location was very near to U of Dundee where we were attending a graduation
Busy streets outside
The sofa bed in our room didn’t have bedding with it and also very uncomfortable to the point it wasn’t useable
Extremely friendly and welcoming staff in all areas of the hotel
Location very good: near the city square: two malls at walking distance. Room: cleaning fair.
Croweded room. Breakfast: Quality standard..Poor facilities ( no wake-up call)
Location and value for money
Could do with fans or air con in the rooms
All as expected.
The shower was just a very fine spray
Proximity to wedding venue and station
Pillows
We were able to check in a little earlier than expected and asked for a room facing the river which was provided. The room was adequately sized and clean with tea and coffee making facilities included. The shower worked well and was refreshing.
The breakfast offering was generous in both hot and cold options and the dining area was large.
We were on the fourth floor and it seemed that all the room doors, while self closing, were set so that at the point of closing they all banged shut. We realised that by holding the door to the end it was possible to prevent the door banging but we were in the minority of guests so there was a lot of doors banging through the night as guests returned back to their rooms.

We had a great stay with friends. Hotel is great for an overnight stay. Weve stayed there a few times now and its so close to the centre of Dundee.
Great location. Friendly staff. Great breakfast.
I booked the holiday inn for my friend's that travelled from the borders for my birthday they said they would be staying there again the breakfast was absolutely delicious and the beds were really comfy the staff were really welcoming and attentive
The only one thing we didn't like is if you book in advance you only get a preference for the room you want my friends who are married got put in a twin room when a double would've been better
