The room and common areas were nice and clean. The food in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced and the grounds surrounding the building were beautiful and well kept. Free airport shuttle was nice as well.
Im pretty sure they had a chlorine pool rather then salt water. I find salt water is more common in Costa Rica and preferred for me. I also found the price to be rather expensive but unfortunately there are not many other options this close to the airport and I had to leave at 5:00AM for my flight, so the Hilton was the only option that made sense. Im not mad at them for cashing in on the convenience, but that is definitely the vibe. They also have a very strict check in time policy and were not able to accommodate a two hour early check-in even though I requested five months in advance.
Sehr spätes check in 6 pm anstatt 3 pm, esse bestellung mehrmals vergessen gegangen
The room was nice
Check in was a long wait and the fridge is a little small
Free airport shuttle
Long wait lines to check in, needed more staff at front desk.
Extremely disappointed in the tack shop, purchased two ice cream bars which cost $35. this was insane.
Very noisy air conditioner
First, the good: Great proximity to the airport, room was clean except for some garbage we found under the bed, and we really appreciated the airport shuttle.
Why I gave two stars: 1. Check in was a nightmare. We arrived with only a few people ahead of us, and it took a full hour before we had our keys. Sometimes there were two people at the front, sometimes one, often they both left (where did they keep going??) so there was no one, and they allow every flight attendant and pilot who comes in to cut to the front of the line. We had at least a dozen people get taken before us and the line was out the door. I totally understand taking flight crew first, but have the staff to cover that, or devote one person to the flight crews and keep one working on the main line. The whole process was extremely frustrating and the fact that the lobby was so hot did not help people's moods. 2. We requested a wake up call since we had an early morning flight. She made note of it but we never received it. Thank goodness my phone alarm worked. 3. The people in Costa Rica are the happiest, most helpful, amazing people in the world. Our whole trip was Pura Vida everywhere we went. Except here. The staff was unhelpful and borderline rude. And to be clear, we were not complaining or being rude in any way, even when we were so frustrated.
In short, we had a decent sleep but will not be returning. There is a Hamptons right there that we will stay at next time.
We stayed overnight after arriving on an evening flight to Liberia Airport. The hotel is conveniently located across from the airport and rental car offices. It was a nice Hilton—very comfortable, clean, and well-furnished—with a quiet room, a large bathroom, and a comfortable bed. The restaurant was conveniently situated in the peaceful outdoor dining courtyard by the pool. The staff were all welcoming, friendly, and very helpful.
Very clean, beautiful pool area, decent sized rooms, with comfy pillows. Free shuttle to the airport, 5-10 minute ride.
Small gym room
New, modern, nice pool area, pool bar, restaurant, right across from the airport, free shuttle
Nada
Location to beach
Sometimes noisy
Close to the airport and convenient for flying out the next day with a free shuttle. The rooms were large and modern.
The pool area was a bit underwhelming and the hotel overall is quite busy. The rooms are a bit pricey.
NA
Should have more persons on the reception desk.
Tge updating kry machine was not working
Great pool and deck space. Friendly staff. Good food and beers on tap.
We checked in early . Room wasn’t ready but when we went at check in we stood in the line up again. Would be nice to have more instruction on how to pick up keys without looking like we’re jumping the line up.
Beautiful facility
Uncertainty and inconsistent shuttle service
Your staff was phenomenal and most helpful
Couldn’t figure out the shower at first George was able to tell us how to turn in the shower
