starting off with the one positive thing, the evening workers were extremely nice and friendly. the pool/hot tub area was very nice.

the bad - we booked a presidential suite because someone in our party needed a separated bedroom. we confirmed this room had a door that would close and they said yes. the room ended up being separated by pocket doors that had fallen off the tracks. so it didn’t help with our issue. the room itself, for being a presidential suite was nothing compared to places we’ve stayed in the past. the bathroom is on the opposite side of the bedroom, the shower was terrible, almost no
water pressure and the tissues in the bathroom were all wet and smelled horrible. the tv barely worked, it only let you watch maybe two channels. there was a mini fridge that hardly worked and a very tiny kitchenette. no utensils or paper towel was provided which is odd for a presidential suite. we were on the 3rd floor and it smelled awful, which i’m assuming was from other guests piling trash and dirty shoes in the hallway. the trash sat outside of these rooms for more than a day. we stayed 3 nights and called twice for towels, which we never got. my husband went down and got clean towels eventually and when he came back up and unfolded one a bug fell out and ran away before we could get it or take a picture. the parking lot is sketchy, people just hanging around and circling you on bikes. the parking is also inconvenient itself, there’s a large parking lot out front but you can’t park there due to it being labeled parking for the business down the road. we booked last minute due to being in town for a funeral and we visit family in lubbock once a year, and it’s safe to say we definitely would not stay here again.

Clean & Quiet -Would book again
Pros:

Clean & Quiet room. Staff were great, breakfast was good and simple.

Cons:

THe bed was a bit lumpy and uncomfortable. We had an issue with our key not working but Maintenance was helpful.
