The location was convenient to our travels.
Clean,, accommodating.

Cons:

Breakfast was marginal. Eggs were not very good. My wife's biscuit was cold. Other items were okay.
Coffee was terrible.
We had a handicap accessible room. The shower chair was very cheap to the point of unsafe. Get better quality.

Cons:

I hate to complain but. Check-in left a lot to be desired. The person behind the desk barely acknowledged me when I walked in. She never said anything about the WiFi or getting into it. When I tried to log into the Wyndham-guest network, it came up as Marriot/Savoy-guest, so it looked like I was in the wrong WiFi network. I called the desk, and she explained they were in transition to a Marriot. So, I tried again, and had to set up a Marriot account, including my phone number and authorization to receive SMS messages and promotions. The phone number and the authorization were required just to get WiFi. After doing that and clicking on get WiFi, I was sent back to the beginning to start all over again. After the third time in the loop I went to the front desk with my laptop in hand, and suddenly I was in. Finally, but a frustrating experience.

My lasting memory of the place was how uncomfortable the bed was-one of the worst ones I have ever been in at a hotel or motel. If it was due for replacement that would be one thing. OTOH if the bed is the replacement bed from Marriot, I feel sorry for anyone trying to sleep in it.

The Wingate employees were so sweet! The two ladies at checkout were especially kind, understanding, and helpful. The hotel was extremely clean and honestly felt like home. I really enjoyed my stay and truly appreciate the wonderful hospitality! ❤️
