Proche de la gare de Termini, ce qui facilite les transports (métro, bus, navette aeroport). L'hôtel est situé dans une rue calme, ce qui permet de récupérer après une journée de marche et de bain de foule.
Chambre propre et spacieuse. Douche chaude. Petit frigo.
Petit déjeuner copieux et varié

We booked this hotel for 6 of us about 10 months ago as a package with Easyjet holidays. When we turned up at the hotel we were told that they were overbooked and therefore we could not stop there. We were escorted to another hotel (Archimedes) about 2 blocks away - which was awful.
It appears that the Hotel San Marco has quite a reputation of doing this to its guests who think that they have a room with them judging by other reviews.
Save yourself the stress and unpleasantness and avoid booking this hotel.

We arrived at 11am on our first day ever in Rome and immediately went to this hotel unfortunately they told us they were over booked and we had to go to another hotel and we could walk three blocks or they’ll get us a taxi since we had luggage we got a taxi the hotel we stayed in for the one night was hotel Milani and it was lovely beds were comfortable and the room was huge as the staff member upgraded us to a superior Room. Next morning staff from hotel San Marco arrived and took our luggage back to our original hotel and we are here for 6 more nights Room is fine staff are lovely, but there is no facilities in room no tea or coffee no cups are allowed in rooms or any glasses either must be a safety issue or to keep rooms clean breakfast is really good and loads to choose from.
I find the mattress very uncomfortable my back is sore when I wake but that’s fine
Overall this hotel is clean and great value for money and it’s beside termini train station so great location
I might book hotel milani next time I’m here just for the comfort and the gorgeous smell in the hotel

Très bon emplacement, très bon rapport qualité prix. Un petit déjeuner vraiment super avec de nombreux choix.

Staff had good English and the location was near some public transit and the main train station.

Dire experience!

Pros:
the location as it is very close to the main train station station.
My husband said the breakfast was good.
The water pressure for the shower was good.

Cons:
The reception staff are beyond unhelpful! We were 3 couples all booked in.....1 couple went to there room to find someone else in it....took a while to get sorted. 1 couple were told there was no space as they had overbooked so they would have to go to another hotel......the other hotel was disgusting.....dirty room, dirty unchanged sheets.....they asked for another room but were told no! They were forced to book somewhere else and the san marco staff don't seem to be able to apologies or issue a refund. Apparently over booking is a common occurrence!
Our room was OK but needed some serious modifications such as: removal of mouldy grout, cleaning of black mould around the window, working air conditioning, towel storage to not be under the sink where it is mouldy and damp, new mattresses with protectors.....ours were both very old, horribly stained with deep depressions in them. My husbands was changed for one that was too small for the bed!
The bar served warm wine
The large amount of student groups who were noisy and made if feel like a hostel
The saftey and tv lights in the main bedroom were always on making it difficult to sleep.

We travel to rome frequently and this was awful.....do not recommend.
