Hampton Inn & Suites Florence-North-I-95

This one fully meets Hampton Inn expectations for cleanliness, interior and exterior condition and breakfast. Basically, if you want more, then a Hampton Inn is probably not for you. In addition, the guest rooms appear to have the some of most up-to-date lighting, fixtures and furniture to found in any Hampton Inn properties where we have stayed. The only drawback: a lot of the room doors appear to have warped a bit, so (on floor 3 at least) more than a few doors are quite noisy as guests work to close them. That said, this is a fine Hampton Inn, and I would happily stay there again.

I was heading home from the America 250 festivites and fireworks in Washington, DC. Traffic getting out of MD and out of the DC area really sucked and was running much later than planned, couple that with a shutdown on I-95 North and was about ~3 hours behind schedule and trying to make it to Santee, SC which is about 60 miles south of Florence, SC. About :15 minutes out of Florence I knew I'd be pressing another hour on the road and decided to stop in Florence where I found this little gem. Stacey helped me at the front desk and said they had a vacancy and quoted me a price that was at least $25 less than another property I' thought about staying at. Stacey was so kind and friendly, she helped an elderly man ahead of me and offered him a treat from the Hilton Honors reward membership container. She was so friendly once she got to me, which she did the same, I really needed a snack! She had a lot of knowledge of the area she shared with me. Kim, who replaced Stacey at the front desk at 11PM was equally as sweet and friendly, and helpful. Once I was in my room, I was very pleased. The property is so clean, as was the room, it seems as though it's not very old. And the bed was an absolute dream, once asleep I slept straight through to my alarm, which was set so that I could make it to breakfast. I got up at 0930 as the breakfast was running until 10AM, and started with some coffee, which was very good! The breakfast was actually pretty awesome and rates up there with the top of hill. Their biscuits and gravy is tied with only one other hotels I've stayed at years ago, at #1!! The choices of other items in the breakfast are VERY plentiful and all were delicious! I was introduced to Miss Stacey, who is in charge of the breakfast and has been at the hotel a LONG time I was told, she was so sweet and helpful. She actually "helped" by showing how to make grits, which I've never done before, but she actually made them for me! What a wonderful breakfast that got me ready for the last 8 hours of my trip home to East Central Florida. The hotel is, overall, definitely a 10 in my opinion, you won't go wrong staying here!

All the staff was extremely helpful. The room was large and clean. My Molly lived her space to walk outside. Very quiet at night. Will definitely stay again.
