Breakfast was HORRIBLE, room had no water one morning, pool was ice cold, no heat in pool area nor lobby/breakfast area of hotel. Staff was AWESOME! Not what I expected for a Hyatt property
It was nice and clean. The room was big enough for our family and it was quiet. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. We enjoyed our short stay for the most part.
The breakfast was disappointing. There weren’t many options. They had bagels, lil quiches and waffles. There was yogurt and watered down orange juice and apple juice. The only meat they had was inside the quiche.
I liked that the hotel was dog friendly. Very comfortable bed.
Sink water temp wouldn't stay cold, it always went warm no matter where the handle was positioned.
Great place to stay, food nearby and staff is amazing. Karmen and Amanda were so helpful and friendly. I even observed Karmen go above and beyond with a family who did not have a reservation and the hotel was sold out. She made a few calls for them going above and beyond. Hotel is clean even though it is going through upgrades. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. If you are staying in the Richmond area, this is your hotel and hope that Amanda and Karmen are working! Their smiles and friendly demeanor are contaegous!
The room was very spacious and very clean. Beds were comfortable. The proximity to restaurants and shops was a plus
The sink in room had slow drain, shower lost pressure often, soaps in Shower smelled terrible. Odd having sink outside of bathroom. The mini fridge made a load noise so turned it off. The pool and fitness area both said closed but seemed o my due to construction carts being left in the hallway. The breakfast was ok nothing like what’s depicted.
The location and shuttle service were the only favorable points for me while choosing this hotel.
Some staff at night shift were extremely rude and unprofessional. The room was having bed bugs. Daily cleaning of the room and trash collection were not happened.
This used to be my go to hotel when i stayed in Richmond bc of location and proximity to my family. However, the quality has gone downhill. I knew there would be construction, but didn’t know where and the construction was right in front of the checkin desk so it was a hazard coming in and out. I bring wipes to wipe down everything i touch in hotels and The fridge handle in my room was disgusting. Cleaning Quality has really gone down. The USB outlet on the clock by the bed didn’t work. Thankfully I had a fully charged portable charger. The tub and the mat that goes on the floor in the tub wasn’t the cleanest. The shower gel was almost out.
Nice spacious room! Breakfast was fine, location good for airport access and a great restaurant within walking distance.
Pillows were too soft for good support.
The Staff cared about our needs, and were very friendly and accommodating. Our stay was cut short due to an emergency and the staff were understanding.
I've stayed at Richmond Airport Hyatt quite a few times. The staff has always been great, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are spacious. Downstairs and top floor was under construction so I am looking forward to seeing the improvements they make on an already great hotel. I couldn't hear any of the construction from my room. The only thing that is a slight inconvenience is not having a microwave in the room, but they have one on each floor by the elevator.
