A fantastic hotel
Pros:

Absolutely lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. 100% worth the money and the location is great! Would Absolutely stay here again if I come back to Berlin.

Pros:

Fabian is the best! he is so nice and welcoming. Top service!

Cons:

Room is very simple. Could have a better lighting and heating. The room was very cold. First day I had to warm it with the hot shower. Next day Fabian offered a small heater, it help.

Großer Anspruch – traurige Realität.
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Der queere Kiez Schöneberg ist nur ein paar Meter entfernt.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und leider kann man das auch sehr deutlich sehen. Die Teppiche sind abgenutzt und fleckig, das Frühstück ist gerade zu einer Zumutung. Mal abgesehen von den vielen Fruchtfliegen, die einen beim Essen umgeben, ist die Auswahl mehr als traurig: eine Sorte Käse, eine Sorte Aufschnitt, keine Brot Auswahl.

Zudem ist es im gesamten Haus sehr zügig. Doch auch im Winter sollte es möglich sein, im Foyer unter Anorak zu sitzen.

Viele Möbel sind angestoßen, hier und dort fehlt Farbe, das Haus vermittelt den Eindruck, dass es schon lange keine kompetente Führung mehr hat.

Disappointed and under-whelmed... but fine if you just want fun and to be queer-central
Pros:

Located near several gay bars; decor was atmospheric; staff at reception were warm, friendly and welcoming - always had a smile; loved the large shower with glass wall to the bedroom; roof-top jacuzzi!

Cons:

Uncomfortable bed; heating/aircon not working in bedroom; noise from traffic; tired fitness and wellbeing facilities; no cafe/bar area in hotel to sit and relax or work quietly. Staff at reception didn't always seem to be able to get issues sorted (like providing a toothbrush!)
My first room was noisy from traffic, managed to get a room change to the back of the hotel, but had to insist. The bed was very hard and lumpy, keeping me awake the first night. On complaining, I was provided with a mattress topper, which helped a bit.
The fitness and well-being area was very tired; all the showers were out of use as under renovation (how do you shower between using the sauna and going into the jacuzzi???) The area didn't have a good social feeling.
Overall, the hotel had a feeling of a place just geared up to hook up days and nights with other guys (via an app); It had no feeling of a 4-star hotel, at best, a decent 3-star hotel. The restaurant and bar area was not a place to socialise in; more of a place geared up for large functions. I would expect a hotel like this to have a cosy bar area where guests can relax in the hotel in the evenings in the hotel, or sit and get a coffee during the day, but there was nothing.

Das Zimmer ist eigentlich sauber, das Personal freundlich

Cons:

Zimmer viel zu klein, Straßenseite durch Autos sehr laut, Frühstück ist sehr schlecht: es gibt jeden Tag das gleiche und kaum Auswahl (Eierspeis, und 1 Art von Wurst, ...). Das SPA ist klein und nicht immer funktionsfähig (es gibt nicht mal duschen und handtücher), preis-leistungsverhältnis nicht gegeben

Pros:

Die Lage ist gut. Das ist aber auch alles.

Cons:

Beim Check-in 20 Minuten gewartet bis jemand kam. Fernsehet super klein und ohne Funktion, keine Dusche, sondern nur eine Badewanne mit Dusche.
