We had trouble with the tv in our room. The staff was very accommodating in getting to our concerns quickly. When unable to correct the issue, they offered options on how to proceed. We’d like to shout-out to Carol who addressed the problem quickly & made sure it was resolved to our liking. She was very kind.

Pros:

Wallpaper was coming off the wall in multiple spots, stains on the ceiling and the walls. Room was overall clean and comfortable, but maintenance needs to be done.

Exceptional
Pros:

Misty, Marcy, and all the staff I encountered were phenomenal. Stayed here for a video project covering different hotel brands and their respective brand standards. I had not stayed at a Hilton property before, and I am quite impressed by everything I saw. Room was spotless and quite spacious I may add. While I was there to highlight some of their property’s amenities and features, I did pay for a room with my own money, and it was well worthwhile. Complimentary hot breakfast is on par with upscale hotels - Hyatt comes to mind- for selection and quality. Keep in mind, that this is an upper midscale hotel brand offering a similar hot complimentary breakfast to what a higher tier brand will offer their guests; what we have here is an incredible value for guests staying at this Hampton property in Brookings. Marcy did an awesome job running the kitchen and keeping everything stocked and clean. And the coffee, omg the coffee….100% arabica dark roast as an option. I did try the in room coffee and was also impressed, so much so that I drank two cups. Great work, Hampton Team! I will be back again!

Pros:

Almost perfect. Great bed. Wish that the sink area could be closed off (even with a curtain) for dressing as bathroom is too small. Also wish breakfast had cranberry juice. Great fee for having a dog. Missed not having a hot tub. Will certainly stay here again.

Liked it being right off the interstate. Only thing I think could have been better was at breakfast, staff was having a meeting right in the middle of where we were to get our food and the hot food offered was pretty much empty. We went at 9 am to eat.
