A great option for anyone who wants to stay somewhere comfortable but with lots of character.
Pros:

It’s a well-preserved inn in the middle of a quaint English village.

Charming place. Avoid the premium room above the bar (my daughter says the bar is loud from below.)

Pretty little village pub stay and doggie friendly, good food!
Pros:

The breakfast was lovely. Traditional English fry up is what we had. There was toast and spreads, croissants, fresh orange juice and apple juice even sliced fresh pineapple. Really enjoyable.
Our little dog was very welcome :)
We had dinner which was tasty, the room was nice with tea, coffee and lovely shortbread n hot chocolate, which was a nice touch.
Bed was comfy, I could actually use my firestick in the tv. Overall was a nice stay. Will definitely stay again.

Cons:

Nothing really tbh.

Good breakfast, but showers hardly worked.
Pros:

Breakfast

Cons:

We stayed in rooms 1 and 2. The shower was not very good. It was very weak, and almost cold. After several minutes it got to the cold side of lukewarm, but most of the time it was even colder. I would have complained, but we were only there 2 nights. Both bathrooms in rooms 1 and 2 were a bit shabby and needed updating in my opinion.
