Lovely staff and food. Great location for us on the way to the channel tunnel. Rooms and bathrooms were a bit tired but it's a mega old place so I bet it costs a fortune to maintain. We had a great stay and would go back.

Nice country pub, good food
The staff were amazing. All very friendly and personable. The breakfast was really good. Cooked fresh and ordered from a menu with plenty of choice, along with a selection of cereals, toast and pastries. All very nice quality, value for money. The rooms were comfortable and I slept well. Lovely surroundings, cute and peaceful.
The rooms could be improved, they are a little dated and the bath and windows could do with attention.
very nice spacious room and bathroom. very clean. all staff throughout were helpfull and friendly. breakfast choices were good and well-prepared. good parking facilities.loved our stay, will certainly stay here again.
shower head rather small so shower experience not that great. quality of coffee capsules were not so good. lighting for reading was not good (due to having a four-poster bed the bed side lights were on the other side if the curtain)
