Great staff, great atmosphere, a warm and welcoming team.
Pros:

I thought all the staff were excellent, especially the bar staff. They were very professional but also very welcoming and friendly - there was a great camaraderie amongst them and you could tell that they enjoyed working there and engaging with both guests of the hotel and regulars visiting the bar. It created a great atmosphere.

Sehr gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit auf dem Weg nach Cornwall oder Wales.
Pros:

Schöne Zimmer, bequeme Betten- perfekt zur Autobahn. Sehr nettes Personal. Pub mit köstlichem Essen. Wir waren schon etliche Male dort und kommen immer wieder gerne hin.

Leuk hotel in een dorp dat meer verdiend qua toerisme dan het nu is. Prachtige historische huizen maar overal lijkt er v

Het is een heel leuk hotel om te zien, maar het interieur vertoond wat achterstallig onderhoud

Cons:

Het avondeten was niet om over naar huis te schrijven, dit hotel zou met iets meer aandacht daarvoor en een opknapbeurt van de kamers veel beter scoren

Delicious food and great breakfast selections

Room was very warm upstairs but weather was unseasonably hot
Had a small fan in room though
Shower was difficult to turn on and maintain the right temperature

great location for me. Tired looking hotel. staff superb.

good car parking

Cons:

bathroom needs cleaning- the grout has black mould.
the tv aerial needs retuning.
it wasn't quiet as the room overlooked the courtyard/beer garden and noisy from the function room.
breakfast was ok -only one item from menu - yogurt should be on the continental buffet not on menu. I found the food satisfactory but salty for my taste.

A nice stay with an excellent evening meal
