Easy check in with a lovely bright room in a quiet part of the hotel
Pros:

The room was excellent. Bath and shower facilities, tea tray in room for breakfast, very quiet location. A storage facility for my bag as I had a late flight.

Cons:

The location is a little hard to find as it's not on any main street but in an arcade

Pros:

The location was okay being in the heart of the city close to the trams was good for my partner because she is disabled

Where do I start the beds where broken the mattress was so old thin and worn out also one of the beds had black mould all over the timber frame I have pictures the air conditioner didn't go below 20.5 degrees it was very stuffy no exhaust fans in the toilets that's never fun how are you supposed to go potty without stinking out the hotel room the kettle was useable the cabinet that had the fridge inside of it was water logged timber with duct tape I have pictures and I had a weird headache the whole stay

you need to improve the refubishment of the carpet its very dark and gloomie..

I do feel a new re do in the carpets are dusty and smells in the room of dust mights .. airconditioner is loud maybe a re check on this to see vents are clean as it feels its pushing dust air through vents..
cleanning the room ladies turned up at 2.30 or 3pm too late..
i good refresh to continue the up keep of the hotel is in great need..

Staff at this facility are always obliging.
Pros:

We always stay at the Causeway because of Location especially. I have a lot of friends and family who I have recommended this place to and they all love the location

Cons:

Lighting was poor. As you get older you need better lighting, especially as Melbourne is generally dark anyway. Bathroom needs a little update.

we had an awesome stay at this property I would definitely stay there again if visiting Melbourne

Location was amazing right in the heart of Melbourne short walking distance to everywhere. The staff were amazing the lifts were quick and the rooms were quiet which is rare when you're staying right in the heart of the city. I would definitely stay there again if visiting Melbourne.

Cons:

The only critique was that the bed was a bit hard for my liking and there were only 4 pillows and no extra blankets. I am a very hard critic on bed comfort 90% of people would more than likely think it was comfortable. Cozy central location with fantastic accessibility, but final touches lacking
Pros:

Comfortable bed in a fantastic central location, less than 100 metres from a tram stop. Quiet rooms - no trouble at all from street noise.

Cons:

Soap rack in the shower was rusted and off its hinges, buttons on the toilet jammed at every use (so had to be removed), and shower head was aged with limescale at the outlet. Some simple fixes would absolutely go a long way here! Hope that they are tidied up before our next stay.
