Pros:

We have stayed before and just love the view. Just a little disappointed with difference in balancing rooms and not having two chairs to sit inside with when you are a couple.

Lovely hotel with a relaxing vibe and excellent location with friendly and efficient staff.
Pros:

We had a ‘superior room’ which was very spacious and beautifully furnished.

Cons:

The bathroom was very large with a free standing bath plus separate shower but lacked storage space for personal toiletries. There was certainly plenty of room for bathroom storage but sadly I find this is something that is lacking in a lot of hotels.

WELCOMING AND HELPFUL STAFF IN A LOVELY OLD HOTEL
Pros:

THE MANAGER WAS INCREDIBLY HELPFUL - HE PAID OUR PARKING AS NO ONE COULD GET THE PARKING MACHINE TO WORK! DESERVES A BIG COMPLIMENT.
ALL STAFF VERY HELPFUL, ALWAYS SMILING.

Cons:

DECOR ETC IN NEED OF MAINTENANCE, BUT THIS IS AN OLD BUILDING AND UNAVOIDABLE - HENCE THIS NOT A "DIDN'T LIKE" BUT JUST A COMMENT.

Lovely traditional hotel whiich puts the hospitality first
Pros:

The location is superb- you can walk everywhere - to the beach, pier, shops, castle, MOMI museum. Our room was very large, well appointed and comfortable with 2 arm chairs and a very large bed. The hotel is very old and full of character. In every room there is a little folder with information on the historical figures who have stayed/visited after whom the rooms are named. Breakfast was delicious with an excellent menu. We also ate an evening meal in the restaurant which was also excellent. The staff were all welcoming and friendly.

Cons:

It is a shame there isn't a relationship 'deal' with the carpark - it would be easier for guests.
