Super location and comfortable accommodation with a superb breakfast.
Fantastic location and lovely spacious rooms with amazing sea views

Balcony room was amazing . Woke up to the sound of the sea
Staff very friendly and welcoming
Breakfast was the only disappointment compared to previous stays.
A fantastic location with a lovely view of the channel and beach. we had a room with a balcony and had breakfast on it. And my wife & I had an enjoyable meal.
No complaints
Very helpful staff and lovely location
A lot of stairs but to be expected in old building
Roll top bath and breakfast in our room
It was a bit expensive for one night
We have stayed here before and the location is excellent.
We have stayed in the other two balcony rooms before. This time we were in the middle room and it was smaller ….. and only one comfy chair to sit on. Other person had to sit on the bed.
Exceptional hotel, admittedly obviously quite old, but that gives it it's charm. Great staff, proper 'roomy ' rooms, elegant decor, good food, and fantastic location on the beach.
Great room, with a view to the sea, with a spacious and luxurious bathroom. Extra large bed in a big room with lots of space and excellent tea & coffee facilities. Breakfast was very varied and excellent quality, served by two lovely ladies. Reception was very helpful and welcoming.
Shame there is no hotel parking or a preferential rate on the adjacent council parking.
The hotel is in an exceptional location, on the beach yet close to the town with all of it's facilities. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable with wonderful views of the beach and pier. Breakfast was excellent, it was served in a charming room and our waitress was very pleasant.

Top-Lage, sehr traditionell charmantes Gästehaus mit sehr freundlichem Personal
Excellent comfort, spacious rooms, courteous and friendly staff, clean. great food wonderful location.
Not a crtitism of the hotel or staff but the building is very old and there is no lift. I struggle with stairs and there are a lot of them but the struggle is worth it. However, not a hotel for people who cannot do stairs at all althogh staff are very willing to assist with carrying luggage etc for you if needed.
I have stayed here before and love the room. I love the proportions and the decor. I especially love the view.
Unfortunately on this occasion the room was very cold and the radiators were only lukewarm at best. Likewise with the water when we ran a bath and shower.
Room lovely, food delicious and right by the sea
