We were there for a quick trip, overnight so we did not get to use the amenities, nor did we partake in the breakfast.
Pros:

Perfect location and very nice set up for our weekend.

Cons:

The room was set up nicely, but what I did not like about the place is it stunk. You could tell the carpets were in desperate need of cleaning. The room had the loud odor of Fabulosa, which was obviously an attempt to cover up the smell of the dirty carpet. It was right before spring break so it is possible they were waiting until after that busy season to clean the carpets, at least I hope. It was the entire hotel, not just our room that had a horrible odor.

Lovely stay!
Pros:

Great location, nice pool, clean and huge rooms, renewed lobby. Lake behind the building is fool of turtles and birds, we even saw an alligator - great fun for kids and adults.

Cons:

Maybe the breakfast is a bit primitive, no veggies, but nevertheless they serve eggs, patties, porridge and waffles!
