Unit smelled. Ran out of hot water during 2nd shower during first two hours of our stay. Instructions for television remotes would have been helpful. Key pick-up and drop off inconvenient drive from unit. Only decaf coffee in unit. Dishes still in dishwasher on arrival.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Mountain Lodge at Okemo, it was clean and our room was newly renovated and very cute. Would definitely recommend!!
Room wasn’t very clean, garbage disposal the sink wasn’t working, so the sink backed up, and there was only one roll of toilet paper in the condo for the whole weekend. Also, it took about 90 minutes to find the condo because of the lack of directions and Staff.
Stayed at Mountain lodge building C, great location, close to downtown and many restaurants. The Okemo scenic chair lift was walking distance. Will stay again.
Very good. Staff was great. Friendly and knowledgeable.
Took care of any issues. Excellent fitness center and staff.
Never staying here again. My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend and it was a nice room, but as soon as we turned the tv on, it prompted us saying there was an overdue balance that whoever is maintaining the room hadn’t paid off, there was NO internet and worst bof all, NO HOT WATER. We made several calls to the front desk, telling them our complaints and they proceeded to tell us they would reach out to the property manager and would get back to us. We never heard back from them. Horrible communication and customer service.
Tv was out our whole stay, 2 nights, 3 days...otherwise though, we loved it.
Okay
Amazing best winter vacation we have had!
Stay was good, but one big negative is that if you are staying in mountain lodge, then you have to go all the way to other resort for checkin and drop off the keys. It took us 45 mins to get to other resort where main office is, just for 2 miles distance.. they should have someone at Mountain Lodge to allow people to check in
Loved the location for this ski in ski out. Nice to look out the balcony and be right in the middle of the action. The sofa bed was uncomfortable with springs popping up all over. The back door didn't lock and the window handle was broken . There was a light bulb that was out and not all the outlets worked. The tv situation was a nightmare with one tv all snowy and the other one whose remote was missing the select button and could not choose a channel. The location was great but would not choose this room again .
Overall accommodation (B) Clean (B) Bath Towels quantity for 2 adults (F) Walk Out Skiing- no snow shovel provided to clear the back deck and create a path 5-yard path to groomed trail(F) Sleeping Accommodations absolutely the worst mattress ever slept on (at Okemo for an on-snow ski education event a good night's sleep was critical (FFFF-) Permit parking lot was a disaster, condition between parked vehicles was unsafe.. hardly adequate space for as full-size pick-up truck (FFF-)...Check-in... registering through Hotels.com while indicating check in was at Jackson Core Inn, failed to indicate the inn is approximately 4 miles from the unit and the printed information failed to list the inn's phone number... using a rather sophisticated GPS to locate 111 Jackson Core Road leads up a 2-mile backroad to a security gate... once inside the inn complex zero signage leading one to check in... comments from the inn staff ''the accommodation web sites information is never 100% correct'', who's responsibility is that? (FF-)
P.S.- By the way... the groomer backup alarms were a special treat Sunday Night around 11:30 pm right up against Building C, after a long day at work and travel Sunday Afternoon.
Price vs. Overall Experience (D-)
Never Again
Don't be disouraged by other reviews. While pricey, the condo was very nice and very convenient for winter sports. We had a King 1 BR on floor C (top floor). It was the lowest price option offered between Mountain Lodge and Jackson Gore. Parking was included and convenient. No elevators, but we are mostly skiers / snowboarders and were able to walk up to it without issue. There is a roomy ski / snowboard locker (locked closet) next to front door into the unit. Yes, this is on the 3rd floor. Nice view of the lift area and mountain from living room and bedroom. Our young adult daughers found the queen sofabed comfortable enough to share. Condo was clean, quiet, and very convenient. We walked down to the corner for a very good meal at the tavern on night of arrival. I'm sure there are always more modern options for furniture, decor, and kitchen and batch fixtures, but we are not concerned with "fashion" in a hotel / rental. Everything seemed up to date. We were here to ski. Our criteria for satisfying is Clean, Quiet, and Comfortable, and this place checked all the boxes. I was hotel coordinator for my daughter's club sports teams for years, so have managed very many stays throughout the east. Our only real complaint was running low on hot water late Saturday night, so one of our family waited till the morning to shower. The next night we were more careful to take reasonable showers and all 4 of them were fine. The place was very expensive, but less expensive than the sister facility at Jackson Gore. We liked that this one showed as including a kitchen in every unit, and that's what we had. If we had stayed at Jackson Gore, we know very few trails were open in that section, and we might not have had a kitchen. Plus, it was more expensive there.
Unfortunately, only about half the mountain was open, only two black diamonds, the weekend before Christmas 2024. Other trails looked good, but were closed. There was a section just after exiting the summit lift where a short wide trail down to the top of World Cup was a sheet of ice on first day, and on second day after several inches of snowfall overnight, the same section got scraped off and was back to being a sheet of ice by 1 PM. Very few tufts of snow left to turn off of. I definitely recommend the resort consider expanding ways to access trails. Even for experienced skiers, it was a bit challenging. It was too much for the apparently less experienced skier who ran into my daughter.
If you're thinking Mountain Lodge sounds like a better fit for you than Jackson Gore, don't be scared off by some of the other reviews. I hestitated, but am glad I booked this one.
Building A of the Okemo lodge is perfect for ski in and out. The studio is clean and the kitchenette is a but outdated but well furnished with all the utensils needed to cook and bake. We keep coming back :)
There was no breakfast.
The room was clean, but old and dated.
Heat system was out so we used electric fireplace. Took awhile to heat room up. TV in bedroom didn’t work. Either was not much of a problem. Room and location were excellent.
Staff in the restaurant were exceptional as was reception.
As a single traveller the restaurant went out of the way to accommodate me. The receptionist aided me in accessing the locked coffee area.
Beautiful facility, they upgraded our room no charge ! Wonderful place !
key card didnt work. tried to get it fixed and it still didnt work. tried again and it finally worked. not the end of the world but it was a drag.
it's a very nice spot. the pool facilities are nice. theres a fire pit. the people are nice and corteous. i have stayed here before and will do so again. the room was huge and very nice. they were very accomadating and put us up in a handicap accesible room when it wasnt clear how to request one on the website. overall its a very nice place to stay and i would recommend.
