Brilliant
Pros:

Superb location, simply paradise.
Every member of staff was most helpful, friendly, attentive, efficient, always ready to help. I would particularly mention Geoffrey and Barbara. The room was great with views of the rainforest and the beach. Beds very comfortable.

Cons:

Some of the guests very rude towards some of the staff and totally unwarranted as we witnessed on several occasions. The management should back up the staff and not the other way around. On our last couple of days there was a new intake of staff who we felt won't be so good or nice and not a word of French is not ideal. Guadeloupe is France after all.

Pros:

La vue Mer

Cons:

- Personnel peu aimable parlant peu le français notamment à la réception
- Pauvreté du petit déjeuner, mieux vaut arriver tôt pour espérer avoir « du choix ». Les propositions salées (œufs, mini saucisses, bacon) sont grasses +++ , pauvre en propositions sucrées (ou sans saveur).
- Difficile de trouver une table débarrassée pour le petit déjeuner. Nettoyée : impossible.
- Parking situé à l’extérieur de l’établissement, peu pratique pour le transport des bagages. Armez vous de patience si vous demandez une navette.
- L’établissement et ses installations son vétustes.
- La propreté des chambres laisse à désirer
- Salle de bain très étroite, pas d’étanchéité à la douche « italienne » donc l’eau coule partout.
- Odeur de vieux et renfermé en permanence dans la chambre malgré la fenêtre ouverte.
- Clic-clac inconfortable (très vieux matelas à ressorts). Il n’y avait même pas de draps à notre arrivée. Nous avons demandé un surmatelas , draps, petite couette afin de pouvoir en faire un « vrai lit » ce qui a royalement soulé la réceptionniste.
- RAPPORT QUALITÉ prix honteux : 753€ pour 3 nuits. Nous pensions terminer nos vacances dans un endroit « paradisiaque » il n’en est RIEN!!

—> règles strictes : impossible d’annuler une réservation dans cet établissement et récupérer quoi que ce soit!!

Beautiful resort, great people with staff from all over the world. The beach was the nicest that we experienced in our 2 week visit.

Pros:

Die Lage ist fantastisch. Das Meer und der Strand könnten nicht schöner sein. Die Bungalows waren ausreichend ausgestattet. Das Frühstück für unsere Bedürfnisse vollkommen in Ordnung.

Cons:

Auf Sauberkeit und Ordnung beim Frühstück dürfte gerne etwas mehr Wert gelegt werden. Das fängt beim Geschirr an und gilt auch für das Mobiliar sowie den Boden.
Da es etwas häufiger auf der Insel regnet wäre es für uns ein großer Mehrwert gewesen diese Zeit auf einer überdachten Veranda vor den Bungalows verbringen zu können. ( auch zum Trocknen oder Trockenhalten von Badetüchern und Schuhen von Vorteil)

Plage sublime et dog-friendly
Pros:

Nous avions un bungalow avec vue sur le jardin : très calme, agréable et bien équipé (climatisation efficace), parfait pour se reposer. Gros point positif aussi : l’hôtel est vraiment dog-friendly, ce qui a rendu le séjour encore plus simple et confortable pour nous.

Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié sous forme de buffet. Il est également possible de choisir la formule all inclusive, et les plats proposés sont bons et à des prix raisonnables.

L’emplacement est exceptionnel : une superbe plage de sable fin juste en face, idéale pour se baigner et profiter des vagues. Les couchers de soleil sont absolument magnifiques, et nous avons même eu la chance d’assister à un concert de reggae au moment du sunset — ambiance parfaite ! 🌅🎶

Une très belle expérience, je recommande sans hésiter.

Very good
Pros:

After reading mixed reviews we managed our expectations on this hotel. However, we ere pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The location is superb, all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our room with balcony was excellent and spotlessly clean.
We’ve visited most Caribbean islands and enjoyed Guadeloupe the most.
Breakfasts were very good and dinners too, although the menu was a little repetitive.
